Architect Apps - Now why not tech?

So apparently you can apply for architect now. That's amazing, but what about techs? We could use some more(i think). Make it something like architect app but instead of showing builds, show some stuff you've made with Java Code(mods, plugins, apps, etc).

 

Is this so you can be tech yourself

 

I would love to be tech but I only know how to make mods so yeah(meepcraft only uses plugins because mods would be a bit different)
So this is mostly for anyone who may want to be tech.

The Architect app is easy to design and there is a big team already established which can judge them... Tech well don't have that and the application is much harder to design.

 

Just ask them to write a plugin that would benefit meep and have them test it on a dev server. If the plugin works and has some actual benefits, they can join the team.

Tech is way different than architect. It is much easier to prove that you are good at building than it is to prove that you are good at coding.
It would be hard to test coding skills on an application.
