Accessing containers with notes

Disclaimer: I do know that /dis is unavailable at the moment. The issue/suggestion probably won't be resolved/implemented with the return of /dis. Also I am using Klutz's suggestion format.

Background​

If you try to access any type of container (or interact with an object) with a note in your hand, it will both consume the note and open up the container for you.

Issue​

The issue is really trivial here. It's a common mistake to hold a note, you just recently received, in your hand while trying to deposit it into a chest. You will end up using the note, which is not the wanted outcome.

Modification​

I imagine, that it shouldn't be a hard thing to make right clicking a container with a note in your hand prioritize the opening-the-container part, not so much the consuming-the-note part.

Benefits​

Notes are saved, noobs (me) are protected from themselves.

 

Honestly, I'm not sure how much of it is server-side.

I say that because there are a lot of items within the game itself that will use even when your do try to access containers, such as epearls, placing items, and firing bows. Most of the time, it is client lag, but sometimes it is server-side.

I don't use notes enough to know which side this falls under. Though, I do believe this would fall under bug reports, as well.
