A New Resource/Texture Pack

I've been messing around with Gimp trying to learn a bit about digital art and i thought it might be fun to create a texture pack. Looking for early feedback, ideas, and possible collaborators if it turns into a thing. I'm trying to honor the original textures but create something a little more high res. Adding an attachment of what i have so far.

Hey guys thanks for the positive feedback. I added a link to the 'work in progress' in the original post. Feel free to try it out and add further feeback(good or bad). This will be gradually updated. Only a small fraction of blocks have been done. Thanks everyone!
