Towny Tax Idea- Progressive Taxes!

    In America people pay the progressive tax- essentially, the more money they make the higher percentage tax they get.

    It would be a good idea if in towny we can establish a progressive towny tax.

    How it would work is that you can toggle how much each bracket of balances pay (either % or flat tax is fine), and you can also decide what thresholds exist as a tax bracket.

    This would make it easier for larger towns to afford upkeep as well as imitating the real world economy in a more realistic fashion.

    Neither do percent taxes, really.
    That's why there should be a small difference between the buy and sell prices of gold. There's no reason to hoard all the floatable currency in a stock like gold blocks, unless we bring back a fluctuating gold bank, to which it could easily be exploited by baltop players.

    If it was /t set taxes 10% and you still had the option to do /t set taxes 10, then I vote +1 but if its just % then -1

    Denied. This is Minecraft, not real life. Progressive taxes create a negative feedback loop, as it’s called in game design, that punish a player for succeeding (making money).
