Parkour

So on one of my visits recently I have learned that parkour is ridiculously inconvenient to play.

- There is a long walk between the warp and the portals. Why? lol
- You dont get money for checkpoints. Why? lol
- The checkpoint command is okay, but its kind of long and annoying to retype each time. How about something shorter like /cp pk o rpkcp instead of parkour checkpoint every time
- Why not automatically TP a person back to their latest checkpoint upon death?
- Why did we remove having one checkpoint per map?
- Quite possibly the most important point, whether a bug or otherwise, why does the progress not save?

We dont need the fancy crap, make the game not annoying to get to or play so people can enjoy it more, this seemms a bit overkill

 

Oh, I see a lot has changed since I last played parkour.

+1000000000 Parkour sucks right now. We want change!!! I suck at parkour so having progress saved is big for me. When it stopped saving, I stopped playing parkour because it takes me such a long time to do each one and make any progress.

 

If only that was an option. Without getting too deep into it; 'Admin time is precious, parkour is
not a priority'. I don't even remember how many suggestion threads I made or how often I bothered
one of the admins with parkour related stuff.
Ironically, parkour is getting worse every time it's updated. I cba anymore, honestly.

EDIT: The best it ever gets are half-assed updates that are bound to be never polished.
(Checkpoint system, Timing system, Portals, Commands syntax, Structural matters - reverted, never updated, new maps - never finished or implemented (Oldchooper was doing a RS parkour, Egg was doing a fantasy parkour, I was doing some crap...), etc. ... getting too deep now)

 

Other than bugs my only issue with parkour is most of them are too hard for even moderate parkour players. I wouldn't mind an easy but long parkour map. I actually used to build them for myself a long time ago. I'd be interested in helping build one should folks want it.

You brought up some minor issues, but they are annoying and most are an easy fix. especially the spawn point in /warp parkour. It was designed for beauty not practicality.
