    I can see you didn't like the answer I gave you in game, so allow me to elaborate. There are a few things that you've said is wrong with the staff, but the main one I can see is that we spend less time helping people, and more time socializing in /shout. For this reason, I'm going to specifically address that complaint, without getting into anything else.

    To begin, you didn't file a modreq, but you did spam /shout with your question. Fine. No use making a big deal of of it, was only 2 seconds worth and I understand people get frustrated when the need help. From that point, I tpa'd to you so I could try and help you with your problem. You weren't able to break a spawner in the nether attached to a chest shop. It didn't take long to explain to you why it wasn't breaking, and then told you that we were going to eventually be disabling chest shops in wild areas however there was no ETA. I then proceeded to tell you that next time, instead of spamming /shout, to make a modreq as it's a much easier way to get staffs attention. You filed a modreq anyways. Not a problem at all, maybe you misread what I said and thought to file one after I'd already helped you. I quickly claimed it and made a /done message for it, seeing as I had already helped you with your problem. I then asked you if there was anything else I could help you with and you said no.

    The main reason as to why we ask people make modreqs rather than to ask in global, is that just because you don't know what a staff member is doing, doesn't mean we aren't busy. The use of the /modreq command is to help organize how things are done, so we can help the most people in the most efficient way possible. We can't always have 5 people asking us questions at once, and then be expected to keep track of everything. We share the workload as a team, and demanding everything of one person can get overwhelming.

    Just because you don't see what the staff are doing, doesn't mean we aren't doing anything. A hell of a lot of the staff work is done behind the scenes, and not in game. It's impossible to judge a staff members contribution to the server without knowing what's going on behind the scenes. Overall, you had one bad experience, not due to the staff's lack of ability, but due to your lack of understanding towards the situation. I suggest next time that you take a step back and actually take a look at what happened from an outside perspective.

    I did not mean idiots to say that I'm better or convey anger at the situation. I apologize if I came off that way. I meant idiots in the fact that the player base has a lot of young teenagers and can be very frustrating or annoying to deal with. I think your view of staff isn't healthy. I've been staff a few times and while yes, I did my best to do them and did them when I could, I naturally got tired of doing them. Working for free to then be shit on by the people I'm helping is not a fun experience and happens to every staff. Sometimes, and very reasonably, I wanted a break. I wanted to enjoy my free time talking to my friends and enjoying myself rather than doing free work. That is more so my point. Treat people as machines they burn out. Treat them as players and volunteers, you get an overall better staff team.

    Thats what I did.

    No one wants to do staff work all the time. Sometimes, a scamming case or a griefing case takes 30 minutes to an hour and a half to completely log depending on how severe it is. The people are volunteers and if they determine that they want to take a break from modreqs and be a player for a couple minutes, then I don't see the problem. Its all situational. Haven't seen meep in a while, so I cannot attest to the perceived efficiency of staff work, but maybe try and realize staff have to do a lot of the dirty work that you don't, so cut em some slack.

    First off idk where to put this so move it appropriately. Second this isn't concerning all staff.

    I find it odd that I have had 4 modreqs go unanswered for more than 3 hours in the past 2 months but y'all find the time to temp me for "spam/language". Now idk what you mean by "language" and I wasn't talking anymore than anyone else. This isn't against you flame but yeah.

    I'm sick of how some staff can find the time to talk in global all damn day but can't even help a player asking them questions. I could send a modreq, msg them personally, talk in global, and they still wouldn't answer but yet are having a completely unnecessary conversation in global whilst I'm asking a legitimate question.

    Now I dont know what you guys look for in staff and I dont really care. But you guys are staff so please do your job. Is it really that hard to answer a modreq or even a pm. You seem to have all the time in the world to talk about kittens and microwave pizzas in global so I think you can spare some time. Im not even the only person having this problem and upset about it. Its a common issue. So can you please find a fix for this. Aka actually start doing your job better?

    Once again this isn't about the entire staff team and Id rather not name names.

    Im reasonable with time issues and whether or not you might have other people to help but in no way should it ever take more than an hour, hell 30 minutes, to do the job you were asked to do. I dont know whats going on with staff but before I took a break it was never like this and you could get your modreq answered within 5 minutes of sending it in. Hell 30 seconds for some help in global. I find it ridiculous I can get help faster from a random cit than a staff member.

    Please start doing your jobs.

    Also dont remove this unless you have a legitimate reason to and if so msg me that reason

    They are players, not workhorses. They don't get paid to deal with you idiots. Quickest way to staff burn out is to treat them as modreq machines and not players
