Its very simple. Let others have their opinion and stop being a bigot. You can easily state an opinion without coming off rude. I can tell you dont have much of this "real world" experience that you speak of because usually people are raised with that common knowledge.

Villager breeding will not be coming back. hope that settles it.

 

It's more difficult to get emeralds now too. Remember, there are no spawners, which means no automatic pig grinders.

Formerly, in alpha/beta, people used to set up pig/cow spawners with pistons to push them over the edge of a giant hole. By doing this and afking all day, they were able to amass massive amounts of pork/beef/leather that they were then able to trade with villagers. However, now that pig spawners are removed emeralds will be quite a bit harder to get. So yeah, you still have to work for them, by killing pigs/cows, operating a sheep farm, harvesting wheat, or what have you.

Doing quests to get items is for skyblock.

And I personally believe you're being rude to Klutch, especially considering everything he's doing to get the server back up and running. Like, seriously, it's uncalled for. That's just my belief, and if you can't handle that then I don't know what to tell you either.

If this was the case, then what is the point of this thread? Why hasn't it already been stated that villager breeding is not coming back. All of this was for not.

And yes I am coming off as disrespectful because you literally have to explain something to people 5 times 5 different ways for them to still not understand what you're trying to say. e.x. this thread that shouldn't even exist because villager breeding is not coming back.

 

It's a suggestion thread. I am merely stating the case that villager trading can be beneficial to the economy of the server, which you do not seem to understand.

 

Funny story, I didnt even have access to console at the time of deletion because I just built a new PC and my key changed. I hadnt had console for close to 4 months prior because of a new HDD, mobo, and processor.

I would not have gone through the trouble of making gamma and fighting for legacy worlds to be kept (because i played in alpha) IOf I planned to reset. Also, If Fuzzlr did it, I would have told him to enjoi his server and left because theirs NO WAY IN **** I would sit there and let that happen. If you think Im that type of person that would let that slide, you know nothing about me.

Great view from your standpoint. Glad I could see it from your side. But I'm also sure you can understand where I'm coming from on this.

Also I don't remember TS working, I believe we're on Discord. Unless TS has been fixed I would have no knowledge of this.

Glad to see breeding is stay disabled as it has in the past due it destroying the economy a few years ago.
Also glad villager trading is still allowed as I never wanted to see it be removed. I just didn't want players to intently breed villagers to as many as they like for the trades that they like. You get what you get with the trades that you are given and work with them. You don't have the option to pick and choose.

My view on the server being deleted was in correlation to Klutch for these reasons.
The fact that he's been wanting to start over on Meep for months.
The fact that he had plans to delete Alpha first, then beta.
The fact that this he was going to give players 6 months in advance to transfer all of their things from alpha to beta.
The fact that we don't know who actually deleted the server (because it's professional which it is, but it's also a great cover up if there is one)
The fact that a Tech has powers to delete the entire server by himself?
The fact that we do have the world downloads for the server to bring it back up and running, but the save for them was far to long ago that we can't use them.
The fact that the Towny server downloads themselves are going to be available for download soon.
The fact that the plug-in's and the coding for the server are such a huge mess, it would be easier to just start fresh.

Oh no, don't mention all of these. Just accuse me of looking for a scapegoat.

In all respect to the server and Klutch himself. Starting fresh is a great idea, as demonstrated by Gamma being added. (Which I only think adds to the fact of why there should of been an entire server restart). It brings in new life to the server and great new ideas. But with all of these things happening, like the Blacklisting, the server some how being deleted by someone who doesn't exist for just some reason, is telling me something's not right.

But nope you're right, I'm just looking for a scapegoat to an utterly pointless significant event that has literally changed MeepCraft itself entirely.

I was against the restart. I thought of adding gamma because it was all we had left.
The team was split 50/50 on deleting a/b but I wanted to keep both forever. Never 1 time did I vote for deletion.
6 months? Can you link me? I was transferring meebles to make it an easy transition.
(Although I was 100% against it, if the vote cast to reset I would have no choice. But as mentioned, I was against it)
The server had no backups at the time because of a host change. Full console was trusted with the techs and they deleted all the files on the servers.
The latest backups were right when before gamma was up. We literally just readded gamma but we lost a/b and all towny/player data.
We have maps but all the permissions are gone. No one belongs to a town. no one had money. If we re implemented them they would all fall 1 day after opening.
This is simply untrue. We has all the plugins we were on up to date. The restart did not make this easier at all.

Your entire post is a slew of ignorance and assumptions. If youre going to make a presumption then please do yourself a favor and gather 1 ounce of evidence before looking like an ignorant fool.
