Introduction: Hello, my name is Ethan and I live in Los Angeles, California. I love to play Meepcraft and it is the ONLY server I play on. My favorite sport and the only one that I am good at is Skiing. During my free time, I like to read and play on Meepcraft (and sometimes play with my five brothers and sisters when they aren't being crazy). I have a big sense of humor and am the class clown at my school. My favorite subject at school is Literature because we get to read books. I am kind of a grammar fanatic and will get a little crazy if people say "more better" or "me and my friend". I am not a big sports person so while most of the boys at my school are outside playing basketball on the yard during recess, I can probably be found in the school library or talking with some friends. I am a tech wizard. At my school, at the end of the year, the tech teacher gives out an award for the most dedicated, technological student. I have won this two years in a row.

Why should you be Helper? I am a veteran of meep. I have been playing meep for almost three years. I know all the advanced commands (and all the simple ones too). I know I don't help a lot in chat recently, but this is mainly due to the fact that I am a sort of slow typer and by the time I try to help someone, someone else has already helped them. I am a very dedicated person. When I set my mind to something, I make sure it gets done or I tend to feel very stressed about doing it. The main thing that I think makes me qualified for a staff position is my ability to be empathetic. I am very good at knowing how others are feeling, even if it is just through text chat. I feel that empathy is a crucial skill which any staff member needs.

What are your weaknesses? I'm very opinionated- I have a very set idea of how many things should be. When people disagree, I tend to discuss or explain my position to hopefully persuade them that my position is correct. I am currently working on being more mature in the way I explain my views.

Hello so I'm leaving a neutral on this mainly for the reason that I don't know enough about you. I'd like more weaknesses and why you should be helper before I give a mark ( Never edit your application after it's posted). Oh and when you add someone as a reference you need their permission before you do it. I'd like to see you more active in discord, I think I see you a fair bit on forums and in-game. I feel like your application is way too short, and just from your application, I cannot see much positive qualities in you that could qualify you for the position. Also, I recommend taking a long time to write and revise your application before applying, as editing the application is something that is viewed negatively. Your application right now is weak, especially in your why, and weakness sections. I know that you have much more characteristics that both qualify and disqualify you for helper. For example, you tied immaturity into being opinionated, and those are two different things that you need to address more specifically. Being a veteran in meep does not make you helper. I need other strong characteristics. I recommend you to take a look at older accepted applications and build off of those. Also, as @kirby99 said for the references, you need people that are 100% sure that you will do a great job as helper.

Your responses to the community are a crucial part of your application. Try to be formal and sincere and do consider what people suggest!

In general, I feel like you are a good member, and you will have a chance if you put more effort in your application. Keep trying and you will achieve it, but for now, it is a -1 from me.

Hey. So your application is pretty short and there isn't a lot of info on yourself or weaknesses. For myself, I am a pretty fast typer, and if someone asks something in chat, most of the time I'm the first to respond, but a few people still say what they think is correct, and if our answers don't match, then it will get cleared up by a staff member. I know that may not make sense but I think you need to get OUT more so -1.

Well, can't say I was expecting this. When it comes to your application, there are a few things I'd like to point out.

This intro isn't too bad. I'd like to know a bit more about you, though. This tells me what you do, but not as much who you are. I want to know more of how you think, rather than what you do

Again, this section is rather short. It tells me the base of the qualities you have, but doesn't really explain why they're beneficial, and strong examples of how you use them. One way to lengthen this more is tie in the things mentioned in your intro. It shows how you take your ordinary life skills, and apply them towards the staff team.

I understand this weakness, I really do. I'm certain there are more things you could list, but as an individual weakness, it is handled well.

As a whole, your application is fairly weak, but you have the foundation of it in place. Still, that doesn't mean quite as much as who you are. I can see you having the potential to do a lot of good, quite easily, actually. I don't think you're quite ready for this, though. I'd like to see you active for a bit longer. I'm not referring to your actual in-game time, but being consistently active. As for the various areas of the server, you're fairly well-rounded in Discord, in-game, and forums activity. I can see you putting your empathy to use, but you also want to be able to be the bad guy if someone is causing a ruckus. I know you feel like others answer questions first, but I'd like to see more answers in global, anyways, if only to get it right if others mess something up. Another thing I can suggest working on is your timezone. A lot of people don't really seem to know who you are, so playing at weird times can really get you out there. Best of luck!

you're a great assistant in my town, and you are very helpful with all players, whether it be new or old players. you are always looking for ways to help out, and you have great initiative. however, i would have loved for a more in depth application, you have more qualities you could have expanded on. i'll leave a no vote for now, but keep improving! you're doing awesome

 

Heya Nacho, So:
First, the introduction. I liked it, it had a decent amount of information and helped me get to know you a lot more. The why, not so much. I see what you were getting at there. However, you cut it a bit short on adding details to follow up with your reasoning. Yeah, you definitely supplied some good qualities, but I know you have more than that, and those qualities could have been explained more solidly. The weaknesses seem to be not too major, as being opinionated can be contained, however, it can be major if you are harsh on wanting to be correct. Immaturity isn't too big of an issue; it can always be harnessed. In game, you're very kind and I haven't had any problems with you. You are a bit immature, but as stated above, that isn't a biggie. Overall, I do believe you are on the right path, but a little time would do you wonders. You want this, you want to help, you just need to show us a bit more of what unique things you can bring to the table. I stand nuetral. Good luck
