Introduction: Hello, My name is Jesse I grew up in a small town in Florida that has now grown so much, I love to fish, hang out with my friends and family and of course sleep & eat! My favorite food is steak and I love banana pudding. I am in high school hopefully graduating this year and I would love to be a real estate agent some day. My dream is to flip houses and maybe have a TV show but that's setting my standards pretty high! I have 2 dogs a yorkie (Gracie) and a bichon (Daisy) I did just take roughly 2 weeks off of meep I don't want this to be counted against me due to that fact I was sick (sent to the hospital) and school had me busy but I am all better now.

Why should you be Helper? I believe I should be helper because unlike my past I have become mature, I have been on forums and team speak more then ever and I love to help. I am friendly to everyone and I tend not to get into arguments (anymore) I do try to help out as much as I can and to the best of my ability, I feel I can help many people with simple tasks but with my past experiences with working with players and needing staff help of my own I feel I can help with almost anything. I have many mentors on here many who are staff or once were staff, I am a town assistant in DreamCraft (Beta) and feel they have earned my trust and so should staff. I have been reliable and want to be apart in making this a friendly server.

What are your weaknesses? My biggest weakness in my opinion is learning, I don't know everything about the game which is why I feel becoming helper would help me out a lot, Asking my co workers for help would teach me a lot.
Another thing is my chat history, it may not be the best but I have changed a lot and feel I have matured and moved many arguments into forums.
(please do excuse my caps evade today I was really excited and wanted to do an event (; )
Last but not least because I am not perfect and do have many flaws, Talking on Team Speak I do sit on there and talk but I don't like to talk in big groups.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: Please take me into consideration I do feel I have matured and may be a better fit for the job, I applied for helper before and didn't do so great but I did take more time on this application and would love to help make this a friendly server. I have never been staff on any server but I have been town assistants. I look forward to your feed back and please give me suggestions. I will not give up <3

So we are friends. and we chill. But I see several issues with this app.
For one, you aren't very mature, especially in public. You almost seem more mature when you're messing around in message, and tbh thats weird. You should be more mature in global. you can't just say ''oh excuse my caps evade, I was excited'' That doesn't matter. It doesn't matter at all. That is absolutely no excuse to break a rule. Especially when you're trying to be mature and go for something like this. Because staff go through the filter, I can see you rather heavily abusing that. And of course you know the occasional couple letters is fine, every staff does it, but we dont take it to the extremes you do with your caps evasion.

You also raged, a lot after gamma came out, cursing and evading and all, and thats no good. Shows lack of dedication to the server in general.

For right now, if you really want this, cut way back on the immaturity and try to be positive and helpful and make yourself a good member of the community. It may take some time.

Thank you for your feed back - I can say I only said 1 word in caps which was "events" and a helper messaged me saying please don't caps evade so I was just making it clear that I don't do it all the time. also I wasn't upset when gamma came out I was upset I couldn't use my money at spawn and I didn't curse. Also I'm more mature in message because I'm normally talking to someone being friendly and or helping them, in global I can get upset some times which I have worked on but I can promise its been a bit since I have argued and acted out in chat,

 

Well then, didn't expect this coming. I work on the same town staff, for crying out loud.

Anyways, onto a true evaluation. So, ever since you mentioned applying back in June, I've watched to see how you improved on things people have asked about. Here's what I've observed:

Marlin, you have a huge heart. There are lots of people who don't like you, but you still love people. Compassionate, kind, and many words like those all describe you. You can talk with people, and never hold back when it comes to that.

On the other hand, you can be very, very immature. Often, you will say things without ever really thinking it through. The same applies to how you react to actions. Despite being very good 1v1 with people, you do tend to argue when global gets heated. Words have a good deal of power, which is why I'd like to see you improve on thinking "How will this affect the person I am speaking to?" If it's negative, then consider why you are even saying that. One major concern I have currently is activity. If I'm honest, I haven't really seen you that much since the update. I understand you've been busy and in the hospital, but that just means you should wait before applying. In addition, this application is fairly weak. If I didn't know you from personal experience, I'd have no idea who this was.

Now, I don't mean to be hateful, or anything of the sort, but as your friend and co-worker, I wanted to be completely honest. As of right now, I don't see you as a staff member.

 

Thank you for your feedback, I said I am going to apply every other month until I get it every month or so hopefully improving, if I don't get it now I will get it one day and I will continue to try and do better.

As I said, maturity is definately your biggest weakness. Spamming applications, even if they are more spaced apart, will be just as effective as spamming /buy when you're trying to sell items. It doesn't matter how many times you apply if you haven't changed anything in the first place.

If you want some advice, or help, I'm here; anytime you feel like it.

 

To an extent, I do see some potential in you. But I tend to not have double standards, so +/-.

 

when i said im going to keep applying im not saying im going to spam, it simply means im not going to give up, plus i was told by staff to keep applying, which i did. i feel i have improved and i felt i could have a better chance at it this time then i did the last.

So recently, I've noticed you trying to help out in global, which is great! You've also been improving on some of your weaknesses too, which is always a good thing. However, immaturity is still an issue here. Like I said, you have been improving, I just do believe that you should try to focus on this a bit more and hold off until you've improved a bit more. Also, about your chat history. I do really appreciate the fact that you addressed that, but it doesn't mean it shall be overlooked. You're working past it, but I can't forgot all those violations in global you have made at the moment. So in conclusion, you need to work on helping out a bit more and watching what you say to people before you say it. From me, it's a +/- due to your drive to improve, but there is still work to be done.

 

Thank you a lot for your feed back, I do really try to listen to everyone's comments and follow threw with their suggestions, I may not be on team speak that much now because I have no use for it but when and if I do sometime become a helper I would use it much more, Megastuforeo thank you for paying attention to me in chat and bringing in some good vibes, I do really appreciate it. Heya, I still think your application needs more work, I can see that you have been trying to approve, however I still see you SOMETIMES in global being a bit immature, and even though it is better than before I still believe you need some more work. So for now its a -1 for me however keep trying, keep working on your app make it longer, and put more detail in.

Not sure if this is important but more then 50 people are online, there is 1 staff member online who is afk, and people are spamming, and not acting too smart, I believe if I were helper I could help prevent this because I'm normally on when some staff members aren't and or late at night, so I think I could step up when most are not on <3 I'm not saying to pick me... just consider me <3

However, it is true you have a different schedule than the majority of the team. But, are you available at a moments' notice if your phone dings because there aren't any staff on? And once you're on, can you handle 60-70 people on your own?

I don't ask these to suggest that you're not up to the job, but I'd like to see how you respond.

 

I can be on anytime monday - sunday EXCEPT:
Monday-friday from 12:00 am - 2:30 pm (because of school) then
monday & Wednesday 12:00 am - 6:30pm
because of school and ACT prep,
I do believe i could help out idk about 60-70 people at 1 time but honestly how often does that happen, i believe i could handle that many once i get the hang of things. and i certainly would love to try too, and learn, i think i could work my way up to it!

Don't put all this time into the server man. You have friends and family who want to spend time with you, don't put all day everyday into Meepcraft.

You seem dedicated and willing to learn. I don't see a problem giving you helper.
