In 5 days Pokemon go has done more to fight child obesity than Michelle Obama has in her entire life.

 

Oh man I can't wait to be able to legally plow into some a-hole that is driving while playing that game.

all pokestops and gyms are "too far away" from my house and in public roads ughh

 

My neighborhood is 95% weedles and 5% my tears from catching so many weedles. But it's okay, I caught a nice Charizard when camping

I was so pumped for this game until I get it and walk for 3 hours and find nothing but rattatas smh

useful tip : to reduce battery and data usage, download maps offline on the google maps app. pokémon go uses the google maps api to load map data, which means that if you download the offline maps of areas you’re commonly at in google maps, pokémon go doesn’t have to to constantly refresh when you load up the game again or reach that area. you’ll instantly be able to tell by how fast pokéstops load the information

in the google maps app:

settings > offline areas > add icon > swipe around to download the map of whatever area(s) you choose

I have my copy of the app, just can't get on the servers yet.. because they keep crashing.

 

Hey on the bright side, people are going outside and exercising and moving around. And Nintendo literally made around 7.5B and increase their stock by 20%. So this app is probably one of the biggest things that happened to them since Super Mario Bros

In other words, they're not going to stop this game

 

I just went out with my brother to donate some old clothes and we stopped at 3 pokestops (yes we play together we're losers) and I have three eggs.

I found a 103 CP Cubone; my highest CP pokemon is a 209 Jolteon that I caught 9 eevees for

I currently have 80 pokemon

I found a wild squirtle and bulbasaur lives in my area

For some reason, I found 5 Gastlys just sitting in my house. my house is haunted

The thing I love about this app is that at a pokemon gym I saw atleast a dozen people with their phones out playing the game. That made my whole entire summer.

 

My town must have had a lot of ingress players because there's literally a pokestop at every street corner
