Rustled and Confused

So I'm going to lay out this situation that has been confusing/frustrating me everytime I log on.

A long while back, 2klassy made a dope floating clock tower funded by myself. This build was part of a town called Clockwork that 2klassy and I owned. I eventually left the town to start my own, and 2klassy became inactive. I'd send him money the few times he'd get on to keep the town alive, but eventually he decided to quit completely. The town fell, and I claimed an outpost there because he and I kept a lot of stuff stored there. I failed to claim the rest of the clock tower before someone else did. This player then proceeded to make the clock tower the spawn of their town called Detroit. This rustled me, especially because they took the awesome build that was the floating clock tower and surrounded it with what one could only describe as an **** of a town. I let it go though because I knew there was little chance of me ever getting it back.

Nothing changed for quite a few months until I got a mail from RefugeeCrafter telling me to unclaim my outpost at the clock tower. There was roughly 0% chance of me doing that because not only had I claimed the outpost before they claimed the town, but it was 2klassy and I's build in the first place. I decided to put some signs up on my portion of the clock tower proclaiming my right to the outpost.

Now comes the confusing part: I get messages from RefugeeCrafter still suggesting that I remove the outpost. (notice that he suggested instead of told because he realized that the outpost was rightfully mine) This was followed by someone putting a sign up on the Detroit section of the clock tower saying that I better unclaim the outpost before I get banned. Oddly enough, at the same time I see both of the aforementioned messages, I also notice that the owner of Detroit has mailed me saying that he is going to unclaim the clock tower, and give it back to me. Now I'm confused because there is a staff member and at least one co-mayor/assistant of Detroit telling me to unclaim while the mayor is telling me that he will unclaim.

A decent amount of time has passed since I received all these messages, and nothing has happened. The whole situation is just frustrating, and I wanted to vent about it.

If it isn't worth much to you, just unclaim the embassy. Recently I had to let go of my first plot because @Jwarian will not reply to my msgs (busyness or inactivity) of somehow it got unclaimed and none of his town staff reply to my msgs -_-

Tbh though I feel you, that's a real dump of a town to be around the build (it outclasses the town plain and simple). As long as they don't force you to unclaim it keep it

 

No offense twister, but Detroit is a dump, and how are your residence not falling off their plots everyday?

 

Let me be the one to apologize for the situation, you shouldn't have been the one asked to unclaim as well as the fact that it's probably been claimed much too long ago for us to look up who claimed first.

Twisters didn't build the dump town, and the most of the town is in several outposts on the ground, he found the dump town IIRC.

 

But he claimed it thinking it was a good idea

Sucks about your build getting claimed. Hopefully the situation gets resolved. But if there's already an active town around it... might be impossible to get it back to the way you want it. Might be best to just start fresh.

 

Actually you can get a mod IF your outpost was within 3 plots of the clock because the town rules state you cant claim within 3 plots of another town unless you get permission from a mayor otherwise your screwed.

 

Id have to say although this situation sucks. I feel the only thing is that you will have to be patient for the mayor to unclaim it. Now when it comes to getting banned. I can see no violation of the section of Towny rules that you have broken so therefor cannot be banned unless rules there have been broken.
