Different Color for Ultimate!

There is no possible uglier color.

How about all the cits buy ultimate? that would fix meep in a jiffy

Again, still at +0. I don't mind chat the way it is, then again, I'm not ultimate, and orange is a little off-putting. This deserved to be on the to-do list, just vveerryy far down.

 

Currently its ment to be gold but it looks orange and its the orange that isn't so cool. There seems to be a concensus that purple is the most coveted colour. In order to encourage donations, the top rank should have the best colour.

Guys this is a suggestion not a discussion You either do +1 or -1.

 

It is a discussion about the suggestion. People can give reasons for their +1s and -1s or input their own ideas related to the suggestion, like "I think its good, but if we do this instead it'll be better" "I don't like it but I would if it went a little different"
Its fine to discuss a suggestion.

 

I myself am an Elite, and don't think Elite or any lower rank should get a chat color. But I completely agree the color of Ultimate needs to be changed. Orange is actually the least favored color on the entire rainbow! I know lots of Ultimates, and not one I know IG likes the color, even if they don't complain about it.

I refrained from talking all the time because I thought the color orange was just barftastic. I know "gold" is supposed to represent the top donators, but it's such a gross color. There are very few things that can be worse than the orange of chat. It would be cool if the gold was a tag on a rank and then there was a different color chat. Or better yet, make everyone's chat white except staff. I personally really loved the colors Elite have. But that's my personal preference. (Like SuperMods)

I'm a +1 to change the orange color, but it would be a hard adjustment after 2.5 years of it being orange. So used to the colors you already know and associate people with.

To be fair architects were suppose to get a different colour but they all sucked and we stuck with white.

 

since people are willing to pay 320$ for the ultimate rank, they should have the privilege. Orange/Yellow is one of the colors that stands out the most to the naked eye. The color Red is the color that stands out the most to humans, hence the fact that admins and technicians have the red suffix because it is the most noticeable color to the naked eye. I think Ultimate should keep it's current Prefix and Suffix because there is no real reason to do so.

It catches it because it's so hideously ugly. . . Seriously, if it is preventing people from donating an additional $160 to the server, I think we can change a blasted color. Plus, it'll make current Ults happier, in general.

 

Nah, I personally won't think it's a good idea. Chat is already a rainbow of colors, and I don't want it to get too crazy. The chat will just end up looking really ugly from the huge amount of colours that are in it. (I assume you mean to be able to change individual word colors, if i'm wrong please correct me...)

+1 for the ability to select the color that ults want to be able to use. Adding another color seems like a great idea to me, as long as it doesn't get too crazy...

I meant an option to change their default chat colour, not colours within each message, for example: /chatcolour red as opposed to /g &1 Hi &2 Guys! I can however, see where you're coming from, so perhaps a limited amount of colours that can be used, say 3 or 4?
