    I am well aware there are modifications to be made to CTF, but here is my version.
    • Chat
    Make a toggle-able team chat so you don't have to always /msg each other so the enemy doesn't see it
    • Teams
    I would advise reducing the number of teams to two, perhaps with outposts in the place of the other teams. This would also prevent the extreme imbalance in team numbers (Try winning a 1v6).
    • The Flag
    As different as it seems to just sit on a flag to capture it. It is so easily wrecked. With the current maps, an enemy can fight you, die, and come back from his spawn to stop your capture again if it his/her own flag. My proposal instead is to actually have to take it back to your own base, and you lose it if killed. Upon the death of the flag bearer, it would return to it's rightful place. Alternatively, it could be dropped on the ground as a banner, and a teammate or enemy could pick it up.
    • Mobs
    The spawn rates need to be drastically reduced. Have you ever tried taking the healing base at the Islands map, only to be killed by the sheer amount of zombies?
    • Map Construction
    As I continually play this game, I find more and more flaws in the maps. Don't get me wrong, the maps look amazing, but there are several problems.
    Material: Over and over again, I do/see this done to people at the mountainous map. All you do is get the good 'ole flint and steel, and burn down the enemy mines. Boom! That enemy in diamond armor can't get out.
    Glass Issue: Another way to ruin the game is smelt a ton of glass, and block off a enemy spawn or the healing base. This works because glass cannot be broken due to the fact map edges are made of glass. This could be changed to using colored clay as the edges instead, perhaps with glass in front of it. There is only one way to break through these "barriers." TNT!!!
    Cobwebs: I understand these are a part of the maps for the aesthetics, but try PvPing when you ran into a cobweb before getting ambushed
    • Enchanting
    Another idea suggested was the addition of Lapis Lazuli ore to add enchanting. Personally, I believe this is a terrible idea because of the presence of bookshelves. Plus, levels carry over from previous games. So I currently have 80 Xp. Real fair for someone brand new to the game.
    • Rules
    The game rules need to be clarified and corrected at the main warp. Two players that I know have each gotten banned for breaking the rules, when no rules have ever been formally mentioned. Yes, staff has given us insight to what is allowed and what is not, but how is a new player supposed to learn these? Not to mention the current signs at the warp are incorrect and difficult to read.
    • Conclusion
    I look forward to feedback from the rest of the community, and will edit this as needed.

    every other person was red, every other person was blue
    You destroyed a blue wool and took it back to the red base
    it was super easy and simple

    and if you were killed, the wool would go back to the enemy base.
    It also filled your inventory full with the enemy's wool color.
    There was also CTF Colonies.

    This is more or less my general suggestion, but with the addition of an alternate spawn so people can't camp you.

    I also would like to say:
    (This happened the last time I played CTF)
    • You can die while still having a fair amount of life, Usually it happens when I'm tanking hits with diamond armor and die with 3 hearts. I still remember when I had 6 hearts remaining and died... I believe it's because of the tp right before you die and sent back to your base's spawn.

    • I also don't want to forget to mention Friendly Fire / Team killing, you can kill your allies when they're low on Hp. Instead of the tp back to your spawn, let me see the death screen and manually click respawn to be respawned at base.

    • I feel like the worst thing in current CTF, is the pacing in game play. You start, collect 24 diamonds (face it, no one gets iron unless for pick), and then destroy the enemy team with no hope of them surviving. Really slow pacing makes it extremely boring. I would rather like to have the mines full of iron blocks (and maybe some really rare random diamond blocks spawn) and you can just have crafting tables at the top of the mine.

    • When creating maps, have the spawn in a safe zone with multiple exits, It's really annoying to get spawned trapped by a single dude in a diamond set.

    • A problem with the healing base, I tried giving loot to an ally, and the loot fell through the stained glass... (rip diamond sword)

    1. The first two of your additions are glitches, so not really part of a suggestion.
    2. The third, I understand it can be slow, but it makes it so you can't get diamond armor too quickly.
    3. The idea of having 2 teams with a main spawn and an outpost would make you spawn at either one, switching at random. So you spawn at main one time, die, respawn at the outpost next time.
    4. This is only at the mountains map, and yes, is another glitch.

    I know I already suggested this before (and It's on trello I believe), but I do think player upgrades in ctf would be a nice addition. People love to see progress in the game, which ctf currently doesn't have. It should be infected-esque style, with coin multipliers for donors (encourages donating to the server), and some slight kit upgrades as you level up. If it was balanced in any ballpark of balance, it would help attract players who love upgrades to join, thus increasing ctf population.

    Personally, I think that is a terrible idea. CTF is the one minigame where a citizen can clobber an ultimate. The majority of players on Meep are citizens, but if you play games like Infected, it's always Elite+ that dominate because they have such better gear. Try beating one of the players in Iron Armor as a Mother Zombie! Or a level 1 survivor trying to fight off a vampire.

    CTF never has any special kits based on ranks. Why is Elite+ the only people who actually dominate? It's because they rank up their rank, and 20 gives them full iron armor. They constantly practice PvP (well, most) and that's how they learn their skills.

    Honestly, I think that's a good idea. In the original CTF that we had, players were given a set of leather armor with their team wool color as a hat. The starting rank will be given a leather chestplate and boots with their team color. Every two ranks, they're given another piece of armor. Their starter sword will be stone and they're also given a Bow with Infinity on it.

    Great idea but I'd like to add that we add lapis and obsidian to the map so we can enchant stuff. Just reset xp every game or every few games.
    But team chat would be highly useful
    Definitely think the map needs sprucing up. It hasn't been changed in the longest time.
    I'm not sure about the rule thing but I doubt it would be much extra work than a few signs. Any idea for what they would say?
    I don't think the mobs are terrible (even though I can't really fight them, I'm terrible at fighting xD) however if all disagree then by all means reduce the mobs.
    And definitely team equality could be better. I always end up by myseld against teams of 4.

    I was not referring to it's the rank itself that makes players in Infected powerful, but the general Elite is more likely to have the kits. My mistake for the confusion on that. I'm not arguing it's the rank itself, but think of how hard it is for a new player to the server to play against kits that are so much better. I'm not saying we should change Infected (even though it needs to be fixed first). I am implying that we should not make all of our games like that.

    As for enchanting, there are already tables at the Islands map. Though I believe standard diamond armor is powerful enough. If you have diamond armor and the healing base, you're virtually invincible anyways. The only thing that can stop that is another full diamond armor with a gapple.

    The mobs are only terrible at the Islands map healing base. Seriously, I go there to take it and get attacked by 7+ zombies, 5+ skeletons, 3+ creepers, and 4+ spiders at once.

    As for donator perks, I think it needs to be advertised more that there is a multiplier for the donors. 4,000 per win may seem like a lot to a new citizen, but imagine if they knew Ultimates made 10,000 per win.

    I personally don't like the mining thing if u don't mine and go for points u get a massive lead if the other team mines but then they come up and dominate with not enough time to win. I think the game would be more interesting without mining

    I have to disagree, because it is not like it forces you to mine at all. It's a strategic choice you make. In reality, CTF is a form of warfare, so strategy is key.
