KitPvP Kit Creating

Right, so what happens here, is that you can make 2-3 custom kits. But there's a twist. People will obviously make their kits the best they can if it's all free. So we add a price, the better the equipment, the higher the price. Same goes with the enchantments. Some of you might think that this is useless and the staff shouldn't waste time on this. But I think it would make KitPvP more appealing. If you want to expand on this idea feel free. This is just a simple base. Thank you for reading .

 

i wrote something like this a long time ago but it seems to have been lost. i'll probably write it again because i was pretty proud of making it but i see what you mean.

the only problem: is it worth the time?
it seems like a big project that probably would take a long time.

I don't have a problem with this idea, but I'm not so sure about it.

I like this idea, but it costing just sounds like it will end up like the potions... Not being used at all.
Instead of it costing, make having more loadouts more cost meebles. (And to change / edit a piece in your loadout, it could cost 250 meebles each)

There should also be a point system base on how good the equipment is. Max being (choose max number here) points.

this is an example:

Diamond chest-plate = 3 points
Diamond sword = 2 points
Sharp 1 = 1 point
Sharp 2 = 2 points
Sharp 3 = 3 points
Bow = 1 point
128 arrows = 1 point

+/- I rather have them fix mini-games first. Nice idea.

 

Good idea, but I'd rather the dev team fix towny and broken plugins elsewhere before adding new content.

 

But then poor people cant do as well? Because they cant buy/customize there kits. What if you use the normal kits to get points then trade those points with a small amount of meebles (like taxes) to make it.

 

I like the idea but idk what about new players attempting to make money through kit. I'm not saying that's a efficient way at all but still. I think it would be cool though if we could create our own kits but then I think of regular kit and maybe a separate kitpvp world like kit 2 or something...but again I don't know where I stand on this at this point. +/-

 

This would take months of coding from our already very busy tech(s) and I think would be highly OP.
Think about it, our weapons are pretty custom. Im like 99% sure you can't fight with a fish on a vanilla server and our server mods are completely custom so there is no easily going into the code and adding new stuff.
What would the limits be on how powerful the weapon is? We have tons of good pvpers and we don't want new players going in without a chance.
I also don't think this should be on a points system. It would be less Op and better for the server if you could buy it with real money. I'm sure tons of our hardcore pvpers will go for it. It would be great since they won't have to spend a whole 360 for a few aspects of the server.

Right now it seems overly complicated and Op. I need more detailed ideas before I think that it should be implemented

 

+1 I want a kit with speed iron sword rod and bow, maybe even some fns up in here (I'm an MCSG tryhard xD)

 

To stay away from it being OP, we add prices to it.

 

The price wont change how much better that created kit is, it will still be OP if it thrashes the rest.

 

This would still be OP. All it takes is one super rich guy to create a set with god armour, god sword/bow and god apples and kitpvp is ruined.

This would just be beyond OP, no matter the price. Some fool would create a arsenal, hire a healer, and go on a rampage because nobody can kill him who's playing for the fun of it.

 

This would create too much of an imbalance in kit so we are denying it.
