Express yourself!!

Throughout my life ive always felt awful. Even an outcast. But there's one way I've been able to overcome that. Music. Ya you heard me! Music! Singing has always made me feel different from everyone. Even special!! So therefore I am calling a teamspeak meeting in radio at approximately 8 eastern on fridays so that we can all express ourselves through whatever music there is to express. We will also vote on whoever had the most unique song choice in which they sung. But dawn! I can't sing! Don't worry, you don't have to sing! Just be respectful and talk about what song makes you feel like you and why. I will give 10k (increase if donations are given) to whoever does the best! I hope to see you there!

im influenced by music as well. i often think up melodies for euphoric and raw melodies for hardstyle edm tracks. lyric writing is tough though, but i tend to write symbolic and metaphoric things. it helps calm me down.

Have you considered asking for a permanent karaoke channel in TS, so people can use it whenever? People who want to sing could be like, "Hey, let's take this to the karaoke channel!", and people who are bothered by singing could be like, "Hey! Take that to the karaoke channel!" Win-win.

It wouldn't necessarily have to be for just singing, too. Instrumentals could be welcome.

Music is the only language that can connect all humans. Music changed my life aswell, it's a shame music education is being cut and defunded for most schools.

This is a good idea actually. Of course, with me being banned from the server, I'm not sure if I'm banned from TS as well. probably not, but anyways. I have music on my soundcloud if y'all want to check it out, maybe I can play some on Friday?

 

Dawn, I love this Idea! However I don't recommend giving the 10k away because it could create almost a competitive aspect to the event, which is definitely not what you want, I'm sure. Also since its about expression and making people feel good, if they don't "win" they might feel down and leave the channel feeling more upset then when they joined. Other than that great job!

Of course, it could also encourage them to do better. It just depends on the type of person it is. I would be a little upset if I didn't "win", but then again I'd have to remind myself that just because I like it, doesn't mean others will.

 

I would participate but you haven't thought about us British If I came I would sing the You're being silly song!

 

This is a great idea, only:
1: I cant download TS without an administrator password because my dad controls my laptop
2: My wired headset broke, and my laptop won't support Bluetooth for some reason
3: I don't really have the spare time.
Once I get TS, get a laptop that supports Bluetooth, and find some spare time, you'll definitely see me on more often.
