Charge to use /pwarp's

So I pay 30k for a /pwarp and 3k a day to keep up said /pwarp. You don't get any meebles when someone uses your /pwarp. What if you can not afford it after a while? I suggest that we add like a 50 meeble charge everytime someone uses that person's /pwarp and the meebles with either go into their balance or town bank. Plz because I don't see how you're spending 3k a day but not making any income. If someone sees a flaw in this please point it out.

Good idea but, i think 50 is a little pricy if you look at people with low balances.

Currently i don't own any pwarps due to the 3k payment everyday. Maybe consider lowering the pwarp tax?

People, 50 meebles is nothing, most people earn that when they beg for money

Most pwarps lead to businesses that do generate meebles, so that's how they're paid for. Adding a pwarp use fee might interfere with that business and cost the owner money. And coming up with a business plan that pays for the pwarp plus other expenses does add to the challenge.

Reducing the pwarp daily maintenance would allow for more businesses to be successful, because I've seen several where the business they do can't possibly bring in enough to pay the daily maintenance. So that's one alternative I could +1, and it's an easy fix.

Another alternative would be to make the pwarp use fee optional, just like plot or resident taxes. The pwarp owner could set whatever amount they like. Additional code would be required to tell the user what the pwarp tax amount is and allow them to confirm or cancel (this could be skipped where tax =0). It's the more complicated solution and might be an annoyance for ones we use frequently, but it does allow for people to control how they want to use it.

 

An example of this is /pwarp money and is also why I'm hesitant as far as charging meebles to warp to a pwarp.

 

A better solution to a stable income with a /pwarp is to lower the taxes from 3k per dsy to something like 1-2k daily.
This would help the owners of smaller nd less known /pwarps to get profit or atleast equalize their investments in it.

I think if they were warned first
i.e. (MeepCraft): This pwarp "example" charges 50 Meebles to use. /pwarp accept to teleport, /pwarp deny to deny.

 

I love this response but I would like to add that when you vote you get 10k a day, so just voting for the server every day you can keep 3 pwarps up.
