Extend time until afk for fishing purposes

Every time I go fishing I am plagued by the afk notice. You can't pick up items and I have to jump in the water to retrieve my catch. Could we extend the time until afk kicks in as fishing is a patience sport, requiring you to wait for the bite.

 

I'm pretty sure we can all agree that the most annoying thing about being afk is when you stop moving for 5 seconds, and the server says you're afk.

The AFK plugin should recognize you're afk after several minutes, not several seconds. Yes, it's annoying, big +1.

 

Personally I wish there was no auto-afk function. I think if a person wants to be afk than they should have to type the command /afk. However I've been told that there are a few reasons for having it automatic. Definite +1 from me to extend the afk timer.

 

have you tried suggesting that players can use /afk to instantly go afk but still have an automated timer in the background for it? (with the extended time)

They seriously need to extend the time. In KitPVP, I was chasing a player. They stop in front of the doors of one of the cabins.
The server makes them AFK.
I hate it.
Please fix. Thank you.
EDIT: Or instead of having the server think they are afk, just re-add /afk back. But having a cool-down time, say 5 seconds. When Meep first began in 2012, elites constantly spammed /afk, so if the command is added, at least add a cool-down.

 

+1 I hate being told I'm afk after a few seconds. Maybe after 2 mins or something but not a 5 seconds. Awesome suggestion!
