...I joined a server called MeepCraft. It was 2012, when it was fairly new and it was in its prime. I didn't think much of it at first, but it was the first multiplayer server I had ever been on, so I decided to stay. After stepping out of the tutorial, I was amazed at what I saw. A very nice spawn, minigames, towns, and so much more. As the year went by, I think most of us old timers know what happened in the summer of 2013. I couldn't find myself coming back when he took power. After the whole rebellion thing, I was so excited to come back knowing that the server would be like its old self again. This was a place I could always escape to because I knew that I was going to have an enjoyable time on it. The years go by, I obtain Helper, and I lose it in less than two months. (i don't wish to be staff anymore due to obvious reasons as to how the current team is but w/e, although i'd really rather not take a crap on the staff team in this thread) Here I am now, 5 years later, I went from the age of 10 to 15 (16 in 2 days probably gonna kms whoopee). Over $200 spent, even though part of that was a mistake, but I'm still Supreme because I do want to see this server last longer, even though the game is dying in general. This place still holds a ton of memories for me. I do find it a bit sad that I don't play Minecraft anymore, but it's always good to know that I can just lurk the forums to know how the server is currently doing. Maybe I or the server can go on for another 5 years, who knows.
