Bug: I can't say "balls". - This is actually a serious bug report btw.

Date of Bug: 12/7/15

Summary of Bug: Well today I was emptying my /chests and I accidentally dropped my beloved stocks. So I went to say "I'll trade the paper (stocks) for a stack of slime balls". However I couldn't, apparently the word balls used in every situation is bad?

Sure you might say it could be used inappropriately but in most cases it is fine. At least allow the filter to skip it if the words slime comes before it.

It won't be taken off. Just use slime ball or something. Some things on the filter are dumb like "jerk" or "stick". You see why they are bad but not commonly said from trollers. This though. I feel most trollers would try to say this.

 

I've Had This Problem Too, I Was Trying To Say I Needed Slime Balls. This Is Not a bug, but I Think It Should Be Able To Be Said, At Least With Slime Before It. Try Slime_Balls

 

I figured it would fit better in bugs then suggestions.

Please say slimy spherical objects from now on.

You guys, the filter list was not created by us. We are going to go through and take out the things that we don't think are bad enough to be filtered out. I apologize for the inconvenience as of now, but I can assure you that bypassing the filter to say something like 'slime balls' will not get you banned, so don't worry about bypassing it in that case!

 

Hey friends, would one of you mind creating a list of words you're not allowed to use that you believe that you should be able to use? It would be super helpful if one of you did it because as staff we bypass the filter ourselves. Please send me a convo on the forums with a list and we will reevaluate what should or should not be removed from the filter. Thanks!
