I was looking at the 1.9 log earlier and I noticed some issues that servers(including meep) could have.

1. The Protocol Hack
Some of you know what a protocol hack is, but I'll explain for those who don't. It is when a user with a certain client can connect to an out dated server. Basicly like when 1.7 and 1.8 can log in but 1.8 items will not work. The future problem I could see with this is the QUIVERS. You will probably have to have a quiver to use an arrow item. So if a player is using version 1.9 when we are using the Protocol Hack, they will not be able to use bows because they cannot obtain a quiver, and their client is telling them that they need a quiver equipped.

2. Minigames
All of our minigames that use bows(kitpvp, CTF and idk what else) will need to have some changes made. The KitPVP situation will probably cause KitPVP to shut down until the problem is fixed. For CTF the maps will have to be changed so there is a quiver in the chests that contain bows. Simple fix but KitPVP is the main issue.

Correct me if I'm wrong(i don't think I am) but this could potentially cause a lot of problems with servers.
