Introduction
Hello again! My name is Blue Tannery (yes, that’s my real name!), but I’m more commonly known as hippa or hippapajo. In real life, I attend a Montessori school where I learn both academic skills and life skills, both of which have helped me tremendously in my MeepCrafting career. I don’t play sports, because I’ve never been a very physically active person. Meaning that I don’t hike up mountains for fun.

I do, however, like to learn how to code, read, play Minecraft, explore the internet, watch ponies, be with friends, and play Magic: The Gathering.


Why should you become Helper?
I believe I should be helper because I am a people-person. My school, every month, has a Coffee House. The deal is, my class and I set up a business, go buy supplies, then cook muffins, hot chocolate, coffee, and such to sell the the parent and student body once monthly. In Coffee House, I am under the Lobby division, which handles PR and being a cashier and a seater. I’m there because I’m a people person, I have just the sort of personality that makes me very good at relating with others. Everyone in my class says I’m perfect for the job.

When I was helper for a month or so last June (I did the math, and I was helper for exactly 25 days. I was promoted on the 2nd, demoted on the 27th), my days were full of a relatively equal mix of school and modreq-handling. I loved it, and it was the perfect thing to do to keep myself interested in the server, and it was a wonderful hobby I could pour my time into and make a change in the server. I’m experienced, and I’m ready to work as a helper again.

I was efficient, and I always did my absolute best at making sure every modreqee (modreqist?) was happy and content with their modreq being completed. I hope to continue with these qualities into my potential new helper career. One of the most awesome feelings in the world is when you know someone is happy because you did a cool thing, i.e. solving where their mysterious missing iron chestplate with Protection III and Thorns II went.


Weaknesses
Oh my, I’ve got plenty of these. As I first mentioned, in my accepted helper application, I am an impulsive person. I do things before I think about them, it’s just part of how I roll. What I do to stop that is stop. Think before you type that potentially racist comment in shout. Wait. Maybe I shouldn’t insult that person’s mother, even if I didn’t mean it and I was obviously joking. That was the main reason I was demoted, and since then I have made considerable progress in the right direction.

I asked questions, and I understand why I was demoted. I’ve worked on making it better, and right now the only way forward is to keep at it.

I’d say that by far is my largest weakness that is relevant to the server, although I could point out some others, such as I’m terrible at just letting things go, and if I don’t solve a problem right now, I’ll forget about it and it’ll never be resolved, and I hold grudges.

Conclusion
I’d like to say sorry for being inactive recently, a lot has been going on in my personal life, with school and such. It’s gotten better, which is why I’m reapplying.
I’d also like to say sorry to all of the MeepCraft community for the mistakes I made as a helper. I made a few big blunders, and I hope we can hug and make up.
My last denied application was mostly due to the fact that it was a bit soon after I was demoted, and because I never really addressed why I was demoted in the first place.
So I made sure I addressed it, and that’s just about it!

Your app is little bit short. You were demoted, when you were helper. I don't see you helping in game. I don't see you in game and ts. I will keep saying -1 if you keep doing what you doing right now in game. I know that you fixed some of the maturity but still, you need to fix some more. So good luck. -1 my vote won't change.

 

i liked it, you seem like you would be a good helper. The only thing i had issues with was the impulse control (with i have issues with as well. like the other day i punched some guy so hard he cried, just bc he dumped water on me :/ ya its a long story) anyways i think you would be a good helper

I did like the app itself, although I would have liked more details on your demotion. I don't like you you kind of skimmed over it like it was nothing. Even though I personally know the details, I would have liked to see more in your app.

I watched you. The whole time. You continuously spammed and were annoying, and Didn't kick or ban things that needed kicks and bans, and basically were a 'lazy helper.' What can you tell me that makes me trust you as a responsible, mature helper?

A pretty big concern to me is your mic use. Awhile ago you said you can't get on TS and stuff and talk because your parents didn't really like it. Which is fine. But are you going to be active here, or will you just stop getting on TS after you get helper, because you don't specifically NEED to?
Although this hasn't been a recent issue, you were 'to busy' to do somethings. Like answer that question in shout during a modreq. It is not hard to type an answer to a question while doing modreqs. Will this happen again?
Will you be lazy?
Will your activity levels stay high after you get helper, even though the hardest part is over?
Do you truly want helper to help, or to be high in the community? I know you pretty well, dude. And I'm pretty damn sure that if a title could make you more famous and nothing else, you'd take it. It's a big thing for me, because I'm concerned that you only care about how more famous people see you, rather than the community as a whole's ability to look up to you to answer questions and help them out if needed. Last time you were helper, I would not have wanted you to help me because I could not look up to you as a responsible staff member. Address this whole thing.

Yup! I knew for sure that if I applied immediately after the two weeks was up, people would assume I was desperate and overeager to get the position. That's why I waited, to demonstrate that I am capable of holding myself in and making educated decisions.

That first app I did, from VIP-->Helper, was like magic. It just flowed off my fingertips. Ever since then, I've had trouble not sounding repetitive, and I've been getting the sense that I refer to my previous time as helper waay to much. I've been working on this one for a while, and no, I did not seek out peer proofreading. I've always had a very good grasp on how grammar, and I've never worried hugely about it. I probably should have asked someone, though.

This is the sort of reply that always makes me stop and think. Yes. I agree, I was a spammy, annoying helper. When I first got the position, I was scared to death of the whole idea of making a slip-up and then getting insta-demoted. When that slip-up finally came, and I was let off the hook, this wave of realization that as a staff member, I could get away with pretty much anything and not be demoted! Then I can spam, and do this and that and oooh! How about /shout that stupid, immature comment!
I will not let that happen again. I realize that I got super cocky with my job, and I will not let it happen again. And, to address something else you said, yeah. I actually did kick/ban, I just over-kicked/banned. I got way too ban-happy. See figure 1.0

Yup! I have been active more recently, and I plan to stay active more in the future because I love this community, and I don't want to leave it hanging again. Not that it really depended on me, but you get the point. I plan to help out whether I get helper or not, because it's something I just like doing. See figure 1.2:

I've never been a big TeamSpeak user, the idea just doesn't really appeal to me. As much as I spill out across the Internet, there are certain things I like to keep private. As much as I can, even if the tone of my voice doesn't make a difference. I have a fine, working mic, (you've seen it in action) and I can use it when I need to. When I need to, whether that need be staff-related or not. I don't think I'll ever just get on TS for personal pleasure, because that's just not the way I am.

Busy how? What do you mean?
I understand how I'll get super-focused on one thing and refuse to deviate from that path until it's done, but one answer in shout is not such a big deal. Of all the things I messed up as helper, I don't remember that being a problem.

Nope. I won't be lazy, because I know that's a bad idea, I've been down that road, and I know that it's not beneficial for anyone involved.

High as they can be, Alex. I have personal life involvements, such as school, that will come before Meep, but who doesn't? My life is very well organized, and Meep (since I found it) has been pretty high up in that ranking system. I'll stay active as much as I can be.

I'll admit. When I first applied for helper, back in June (and I got helper, OMG that was one of the most amazing things that have ever happened to me) I was in it purely for the title and the fame. Now, I simply want to help out. I'll answer shout questions as much as I can, and several people have /msged me simply for advice. I want the title, because it differentiates me as someone who is sure to help out, and I want people to know that I'll be there to help

I understand that sentiment 100%, largely in part because I felt the same way towards you when you were Helper. I couldn't see past the fun-loving, silly monkey-head that I knew to the helper that I knew, in some primal part of my brain, was there. And I know that sentence doesn't make any sense, but I think you get the gist of it. I still can't see people like superbros1211 as mature staff members (even though I know he is, Superbros ) because he is simply my friend. It's difficult to separate the two parts of my thinking from one another.
Like, when a really well-known actor/actress plays a part in a movie, and you can't see the character, just the actor. Like, RDJ in Iron Man.
And, I don't think my behavior as staff helped anyway, as I acted out pretty much everything I thought, a decent portion of which was immature and silly.

myvonly problem at this point is your impulsiveness and your bias towards friends. If it came to it, could you ban me? Would there be an issue if you had to? If I had a problem, are you going to go out of your way to solve the prroblem more than someone else because we are better friends?

I'll be honest with you, no. I couldn't bring myself to ban you. I could, however, get another staff member who has no personal ties with you to ban you, though...

 

I have personsl ties with at least half the team. That's beside the point. You have lots of friends. You show dedication, and then pull out bad things like that which isn't something I would like as a staff member. You aren't out to ban, but it is a big part of the job.

 

If these people can get helper, you can too.

I didn't exactly read your staff applications fully, but I am not longer active in meepcraft anymore, well for the past year.

From being ex staff multiple times, this lays a huge boundary on good and bad staff.

Good staff, who are dedicated, thrilled to be on, non power hungry, and take staff to make the server better are able to ban their own friends and people.

Bad staff, who are bias, power hungry, and want the nametag and perks, aren't dedicated to make the server better don't ban their own friends and people.

If you honestly can't ban friend on the internet, please don't apply for staff. Even if you have someone else do it for you, you are still countable for the ban.

You are staff to make the server better and more efficient; not to pass bans onto other people to deal with.

This is my thoughts from being ex-staff. I've seen many staff who are bias towards their friends, try to swindle bans and etc.

Based on that specific point, I don't think you are ready for a staff position; there shouldn't be a single staff member that is unable to ban certain people.
