Reason for ban: Duping with nether portals?

What have you learned and why should we trust you to do better? I did not try to dupe with nether portals,and I don't know how, I was trying to help my friend out of a portal with a minecart, but it didn't work, but the minecart is still there.

Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I have no idea when I was banned exactly, and I have never ever gotten a warning of any sort, and I believe this is a false ban.

 

Hey there, I was present at the time of Jwarian's work. There is a known (solved, but known) glitch to dupe items using rail, minecarts, and nether portals. You and your friend has obviously tried to complete this glitch (your friend was stuck on the other side with a minecart), and evidence was found of you two inserting items in to a minecart-chest. We do not take duping lightly, and the only reason this isn't permanent is because the glitch is patched. Denied, have a nice day.
