1.9 kitpvp class

Name: Glider
Type: flying archer
Skill level/class difficulty: advanced to expert
Armour: iron helmet, elytra, black leather pants with projectile protection II, black leather boots with feather falling V
Total armour points: 2.5
Weapons: Skyslicer (gold sword with sharpness IV and unbreaking X), Rain of Justice (bow with power I and punch I)
Other: Rocket jump (stack of 10 potions that give jump boost 40 for five seconds), 2 stacks 64 arrows, 20 instant damage I arrows, 10 specter arrows(duration 30 seconds), 32 slowness II arrows (duration 15 seconds)
Special: Has slowness V perminently on (to stop players from staying on the ground), weakness V while on the ground (same reason), specter I while on the ground (same reason)
Additional info: makes use of 1.9 feature that allows you to chose the arrow type you want to fire, potions regained on kill streak
Possible item (not sure if this should be included let me know):Updraft (potion that gives levitation V for 10 seconds. Quantity of 5)

I would like tons of feedback, telling me ideas and balences. If your not giving this a thumbs up, please tell me why. I have worked very hard on this, please accept.

+1 The elytra is so fun!

I don't think that a permanent weakness and slowness effect on the ground would be good, because what happens when the player runs out of jump boost potions? Perhaps there could be a permanent strength effect when the player is in the air.

 

Needs some balancing and changing having jump boost 40 you could stay in the air for a long to and it's hard to shoot with the elytra but It would be cool to implement them into kit +1/2

Possibly 20-30 jump boosts that give it lvl 20-25 instead of 40 + levitation potions.

This is my perspective for this kit.

This seems like a hit and run kit more or less. Hurt / Kill someone, fly away. (Even with slow V)

Another problem with this kit is that you can jump back up onto the tree and restock on soups / pots or get a new kit.
It would be really annoying to fly with slow V FOV btw.

Aiming would be insanely difficult plus all the lag in kitpvp for an average player makes the bow hardly worth it. Especially with the slowness FOV making players having to get used to it before making any progress killing somone.
Also:
I can't say what the damage is with harming pots etc, but for an archer kit with a better sword than bow sounds strange to me.

See, I thought this would be a good idea, but then I looked at how many people actually pvp on this server. I see at most 5 people on at a time in Kitpvp, and I really can't say much for terrarium (3 or less at a time? Someone will have to answer this for me) Splitting the pvp even more on this server wouldn't be a good idea. It will be populated at first, but then die down and become less than 5 people on at a time.

No soups. Didn't think of the fov. Changed to slowness V while on ground.
Effects while on ground have a duration of 2 seconds when in air (to prevent jumping to deal full damage.)
I put kit difficulty: advanced to expert because it would not be an ideal class to new players. It is based off some of my skills, elytra combat: hitting people with arrows while flying, divebombing people with the sword, hitting them with the sword, pulling up, striking again. Stay off the ground as much as possible.

Not op. The class is powerful, but difficult to use and control. It requires skill.
Also, not too much work. This can be done in vanilla by using commands to give custom potions, and a few command blocks to put the potion effects on the ground. I have likely have less than half the skill of the devs here, and I can do it with some help. It sounds hard, but is very simple and easy.

If kitpvp changes to 1.9 you better expect see a lot less people in there.

Why? Even if meep updates kitpvp, they can give all kitpvp classes infinate haste with a high level, which gets rid of the recharge times on weapons, which makes it like 1.8 again.

1.9 literally ruined pvp. Plus bow spam is already bad enough now you will have flying bow spam? What about other kits? This is unbalanced an annoying idea and it includes 1.9 so
