If you're still looking to get good I'd recommending watching VODs of pro or high level matches.
Working on sprays can be done in deathmatch, and that's where all your aiming needs should be practiced. There's a certain mindset that'll help ya and that's to not give a flying duck about your score while practicing as long as you're sticking to exactly what you're trying to do. [cont.]
[cont.] If you're trying to learn how to spray, hop into a 1v1 server or open deathmatch and spray and only spray for a good 15-30 minutes. You should try to learn the recoil pattern of the gun somewhat before doing this.
When it comes to matches you'll need more than just aim, though winning your 1v1's will also lead to wins. Learning to use nades and react to what's going on through comms/being able to communicate efficiently yourself with your team will win games for you. Just don't be an asshat to others and get some friends who are trying to improve to play MM with you and you'll get somewhere.
