it sucks on purpose and that's what makes it so great, it has every cliche and the design is awesome! And it's TERROCUDA, which was also made by the military. Sharktopus is meant to be watched like sharkndado, you make fun of the horrible writing because that's what makes it some damn funny terrible.

And getting called lots of things that begin with the letter P, for hacking, let's just say that.
