I've thought about it, and come to this conclusion: My heart just isn't in it. When I became staff, I lost myself as a player, and basically took on a second job. I enjoyed helping people, but I'm not so sure I want to take on that role right now. I think I can bitch and moan from the sidelines if needed, and still get about the same amount of suggestions implemented.

Not to bad-mouth the admins, but everything really does trickle down from their command, and being in a position where I can't really do anything but answer questions doesn't suit me – not with how much of myself I put into the position. For now, I'm going to just enjoy the game, and try to see the positives.

Wonder if it's worth raising a stink about the inconsistency. I know of several people who have maintained their supreme rank after the incident ... would hate to call out innocent people though.
