No More Perm bans

Perm bans are not cool and I need more customers for my shop. Please make max ban time 7 days unless they really really really bad. pls.

X-ray and PvP hacks should still be perm. Bug exploit punishments should depend on their intent and impact on economy

 

PVP hackers should get a red mist around them which gives the a one hit death for 1 month if found guilty. Xray users should get a forced rubber band to their game play, so when they mine a block they get flung half way across the map into the void for instant death.

 

Good luck. You got a power grabbing child that claimed Owner with ideas Klutch had pressed on for ages and never got a response from the inactive owner, Fuzzlr. Not to mention him and the tech that gave himself Admin without permission came up with a scheme to get rid of their only check in power, then said sorry we were wrong too late now though oh well here's ambassador lmao. There are no other Admins to check the power of Clueless or Lord. Kinda came from the top though... complete incompetence and lack of Ownership. Bet y'all miss Klutch now. As much as I miss what Meepcraft was, it is headed into a new direction. Have fun with the popularity contest that is now the staff team

I feel that the whole idea of banning someone permanently and then reducing their ban after they appeal is a bit backwards to me especially considering the current daily average amount of active players at the moment. In most cases where a player commits a bannable offense, the 7-day temp ban should be issued first. If the player wants to come back after waiting 7 days, then by all means they are welcome to and 9 times out of 10 they will have learned their lesson. If they don't learn their lesson after the initial temp ban, then that's when you slap the perm ban on them with the option to appeal.

This is an outdated perspective on handling bans. With the current active player base, most people are invested enough where they’re not going to make the same mistake twice—especially when the whole community is going to hold them accountable! +1
