    I asked to remove caps filter in /msg years ago, I don't think this thread is going to go anywhere.
    If it does though also remove it in game SO I CAN MESSAGE PEOPLE LIKE THIS SO THEY KNOW HOW ANGRY I AM

    just send a >:c at the end, so angy but no hard feelings

    It's most likely disabled because down the line there's going to be someone to ruin it for everyone by spamming in caps and only talking in caps, Plus, there's no real reason to have to yell all in caps

    There is literally no reason to have caps disabled. The only reason anyone ever puts forth is "I don't like it"

    What's the point in having the filter removed though? No one talks in all caps, plus it's annoying, I agree it's useless to have the filter in the first place, But there is no reason to have them enabled either

    Caps filter breaks links and doesn't allow us to message people using emphasis on words. We can't use italics like on the forums so we have to rely on caps to REALLY sell words with more force. We can't do that currently. Also, removing the filter takes no time at all and removes an annoyance that's known by all players. And I'd also like to point out how Spongey said the exact thing I made fun of, having "it looks bad" as literally the only point in favor of keeping the filter.
    Yeah it looks spammy and annoying, but let's continue passing time on the forums by counting to 2020

    well, yes you can, if you put * before and after your sentence it will become italic

    You can also underline, make bold, there are other options.

    Oh in game, I was referring to the topic of the main thread oops, again I have the same reasons for in game, my main concern is once it's enabled there's going to be someone to ruin it for everyone else and make it disabled again

    Denied. Caps are annoying to read and you have full access to bold and italic. Discord does not block links based on this either.
