InventoryTweaks

Please prevent the anticheat plugin from blocking inventorytweaks. This mod gives me the will to go on and it doesn't really give any unfair advantages.

 

please explain

 

The mod InventoryTweaks (which sorts your inventory and chests at the click of a button) is currently blocked by meep's anticheat plugin. When you try to sort, it just scrambles your inventory and makes you drop items. I am asking (begging) for it to be unblocked.

 

+1 this could make everyone’s life’s easier and maybe delete anti cheat with it

 

Sure and uh remove world guard while you’re at it

I dont see what harm inventory tweaks could have on the server +1

 

The reason InventoryTweaks is on the list is because it's against the rules, as it acts as a mod which does "externally semi-automated functioning." Though, the rules do say "Investigating acceptable mods is an ongoing process," so the suggestion here probably should be rephrased to be: "allow InventoryTweaks to be a legal mod on the server."

This brings up another question: do staff feel they currently have the tools to fight against macros which utilize mods such as InventoryTweaks to increase the utility of afk machines? I hope so, because mods like InventoyTweaks would be useful on Meepcraft.

 

Although tbf they have to disable the anticheat to make it a legal mod and not all staff think that making it legal and making it possible are two separate things

Looking into the cause of this and the necessary steps to fix it.
