Holiday minigames?

Since most players are inactive on Meepcraft, I was thinking maybe we could have some holiday events (Yes, I know they decorate the spawn and all that for the holiday season) for a limited time, specifically Halloween and Christmas. For Halloween, I'd put in a minigame where you would teleport to a game map, and then travel across the map fight mobs in waves, solve puzzles, go through a maze or two, etc. then you would travel to a specific part of the map to fight a final boss, preferably not the Ender Dragon or Wither. You would have a certain amount of time to complete each objective, and if there was time left from beating the minigame early, you would be put into Creative mode and be able to explore the map.

For Christmas, the concept would be pretty similar to Halloween's minigame, where you would help Santa save Christmas by collecting presents, destroying walls, killing enemies, etc. and only have a certain amount of time, but at the end you would fight the boss from the Halloween minigame. And like the Halloween minigame, if there's time at the end you would be able to explore the map.

Thoughts? I really think this would benefit Meepcraft during the holidays.

 

We did this for years before for Easter Christmas Valentines and Halloween I don’t see why we stopped +1

 

We made a map for the Christmas event last year and we have all the plugins so I wouldn't think it'd be too hard to do again. It was really sucessful and a lot of players enjoyed it but I don't know if staff are planning the same event again. If so it'd be nice if new parts were added to the map and changes would be made to the games but because of the current conditions I don't see that happening. Best case scenario; it's probably coming back same as before but with minimal changes.

We do intend to do some holiday events, however we will not be using these ideas. In the meantime, I am doing smaller events every Saturday (if I’m available) all the way until Christmas.
