Watch Ads to Get Credits You Can Spend at A Special Server Shop

I know some other servers allow people to watch ads on their site to get in game credits. So I was thinking, what if Meepcraft did the same thing? You could watch an ad and get maybe a minuscule amount of credits (like one or so) and maybe if you got like 100 credits, you could by a custom item (like a glass pick, or grappling hook, or even something new). You obviously don't have to go overboard, but this is a nice little way for the server to get more income (plus it's more steady than ranks).

I mean while the suggestion is okay, I think it would make meep feel microtransaction-y and kind of like a mobile game. The games where you watch 5 ads and you get a different skin for your character or something.

Im kind of glad meep doesn't have ads. Like its nice. I think having ads would ruin the charm honestly. Its a bigger diffence than you think.

-1 -- Meep probably isnt going to have a steady stream of money, and doing something like this I think would be annoying, be used a lot for like a week, and never be used again.

+1 it would create ad revenue that could help the server! and then we can use that revenue to make our own ads xD

 

Thank you for the suggestion, but this is denied. We don't believe that this would be beneficial at this time - the possible profit generated from this wouldn't compensate for the way the ads would alter the interaction players have with the website.
