Donald Trump is winning. Every Democrat running has a message of “I hate Donald Trump! Vote for me!”. Donald Trump has the American people on his side. Trump will win in a LANDSLIDE again!

 

Wasn't this the platform for every Republican in 2016, except it was "I hate Hillary! Vote for me!".

I wouldn't necessarily call it a landslide when you only get 56% of the electoral college and lose the popular vote.

A landslide is a lot more like the election of 1932 when FDR got 98% of the electoral college and 60% of the popular vote.

Trump is historically unpopular
Districts where trump won are turning blue (or red wink wink)
Trump didn't win by a landslide in the first place

 

No, Trump was different. Trump brought on the issues. Ie; Trade, Jobs, Immigration.

Trump is unpopular in Hollywood, sure. But out in America he is dearly loved.

He won 30 states. The states he won have more Americans. Ie; not first and second generation Americans. When you look at who voted for Trump vs who voted for Hillary, more first and second generation immigrants voted for Hillary, more 3rd generation+ Americans voted for Trump.

No one voted for Trump because of his personality. We voted for Trump because we knew he would get the job done.

What standard are we setting for Presidents?
Democrats (Maxine Waters) are telling never-Trumpers to literally beat up conservatives. Conservatives can’t go anywhere without a bodyguard. Any liberal could go to an airport, a college campus, a store, any public place and be just fine but the second a conservative goes and checks their mail box a liberal is attacking them. Conservatives are being censored. Conservatives are losing their right to speak (Berkeley college). Liberals (Joy Behar) make fun of Christians and call us “mentally ill”. Hillary Clinton said “Women who voted for Trump only voted Trump because their husbands told them to”. She called Trump supporters “Deplorables” and Bernie supporters “Most likely to be living in their parents basements”. Barack Obama’s pushing for less white people in office (I guess it’s not considered racism if it’s a white person being attacked). Michelle Obama degraded Melania because Melania didn’t finish college, even though she did attend college before she went into modeling and became a self made multi millionaire. Liberals freak out if an illegal alien isn’t being treated nicely but call us Republicans racist if we call out a crime of someone who isn’t white. Liberals have caused people to hate policemen & women. Liberals have taught our youth it’s okay not to follow the law. Democrats are full of hate. You have Masked thugs (antifa) destroying our towns & huring us when a conservative speaks.

- Tightening our borders.
- forcing the law.

- bringing jobs back.
- bringing our fallen soldiers home.

- signed the right to try act.
- bringing God back into our schools.
- Allowing children to attend better schools despite zip code (thank you DeVos).

I could go on and on.... (despite the fact that he gets called a sexist and racist all the time, even though he got a community spirit award for helping the black community & housed Alicia Keys while her and her family was in danger for free). And has been slandered by the fake news media for a few years now.

Whatever your opinion on religion, my opinion is that religious people should still be respected and religious perspectives should be analyzed and taught about from a neutral perspective in schools. To stay on topic: is Trump really making any changes on this field? Not likely.

I'd say they should be covered in accordance to their impact on world history and their prevalence and relevance in today's global culture, and perhaps from a philosophical standpoint in an appropriate course. Pastafarianism, satanism, and scientology are not really widespread and/or largely impactful religions, but they should be covered to an extent. So my opinion stands.

Teaching the history of religion is slightly different from teaching religious perspectives like you said in your original post. While the social effect of religious institutions should be taught in schools religious perspectives are tripe.
