xD well anyway, if you could tell me the airline your flying on and possibly the flight number I could see what you have ahead of you! (Do it thru discord) I promise I wont do anything bad I am just wondering, it should show on your flight ticket? Im a flight fanadic and I do alot of plane trips but they are usualy short but when I do long ones I always know whats ahead of me

Rich is not a requirement for travel. You can swim across the Atlantic ocean from Venezuela to Venice and that is travel. Zero dollars spent because it costs no money to swim. It does cost energy, time, and effort. But that is not what rich measures. Rich just measures money.

Rich enough to fly is still a stretch. You can get $20 flights on budget airlines around Europe. $20 is not rich.

Rich enough to fly long distances is still a stretch. When compared to others on the plane, you are likely of the same SES (socioeconomic status) or less.

Rich enough to fly non-economy long distance is when the word 'rich' begins to carry more meaning. However, these people at the front of commercial airlines are still poor in comparison to the next group.

Rich enough to buy a jet and avoid all nuisances of commercial flight is when the word 'rich' means the most. Of course there are levels above this as well but such levels are irrelevant to this discussion because nobody will care to read much longer.

I tried to make this a very long writing. I filled it with useless fluff so that you would continue to read the worthless text that I continue to write. And I am still writing! When will you stop reading?

 

depending on where you live i can say it is, it costs me near 1200 dollars to fly between australia and new zealand yearly and that's just for the tickets, even a one and a half hour flight in my country costs near 400 dollars return

 

I get what you’re saying when you say that you can travel for nearly nothing, though getting $20 plane tickets within Europe is nearly impossible, unless book your flight nearly 9 months ahead. I went from Genena to Dakhla airport in Morocco, an about 3 hourd flight. Having booked it 2 weeks beforhand, a ticket cost me nearly $500. Same for going to Greece, which is an even shorter flight.

 

My point was if you have enough money to buy a plane ticket and pay for a hotel, you'd be rich enough to avoid the bad parts of Chicago

 

Chicago is pretty safe granted you’re not an idiot. I go to Chicago all the time and as long as you make sure no cars are coming and aren’t in your own world you’ll be fine. In terms of ‘stranger danger’ unless you’re going to walk around at night in Chicago (which I don’t recommend doing) a lot of people are relatively nice and will tell you where to go. Don’t walk into a stray ally and you’ll be fine too.

I agree with most stuff other than talking to people. A lot of people in chicago are tourists and will ask other people for directions. If you don’t know where to go, I’m sure someone around you will be happy and kind enough to redirect you. Don’t sweat it, but don’t be dumb either.

I think that the scariest thing to be honest is the airport. (I can verify because I’m going to board a 10 hour solo flight in 45 minutes ).
