Anti-cheat is by far the most unbearable thing about the server.

Servers are never good at tracking the player model. It's why piston elevators don't work and boats use to randomly break. So why does the anti-cheat make players stick to where the server thinks players are? It doesn't just reset your position, it resets where your eyes were looking too. You can get stuck in mid air, on a slab, and on absolutely nothing. It also resets your /back. It's not like this part of anti-cheat really necessary. It's obvious to tell if someone flying. PVP is dead because combat update, so speed hacks are useless. It's sad that even the staff meme about it.

 

Ive seen some new players complain about it.

I have never had any issues with the anti-cheat plugin (it actually works on "most" things).

 

Its especially awful in parkour sometimes
its always been dumb

 

There are times I'm running and jumping and get stuck in mid air. The boat in the cave in the forest at spawn doesn't allow you to jump out. If you want I can record all these stupid interactions. Also work on your argument, makes you sound like a 12 year old.

 

This will be resolved when the new API is implemented.

 

When would that be implemented? We're kinda itching.

Should of never been implemented in the first place. You guys have a test server.

 

Whenever lord has the time, as the ComDevs have been told that the api is done and ready to implement.

in all seriousness, countryside speedruns are actually not possible because of cobble wall problems, chillroom's head and fence areas are a mess, and boats + slime in towny will actually kill you. (boats are especially bad)

not sure why a server with limitless teleportation and fly needed a speedhack anticheat

 

So all you "cheaters" don't abuse it... clearly! Again... only people that complain about anti-cheat are those trying to cheat!

Welcome to a multiplay server... it's called lag!

Tiny insignificant less then .01% of the server errors don't mean crap, it is that one spot that is glitched in the boat waterpark.

Removing a perfectly good plugin for these 2 small barely bothersome (if bothersome at all) instances is not justifiable.

 

nooo, anticheat and lag put together is and has always been really awful for some folk. You obviously have no way of listening to people so I know this will fly riiiight over your head, but if lots of people are complaining about something, there's usually a problem there :3

 

This is a silly argument to make when a lot of players struggles with anti-cheat, including me to some degree.

So if you haven’t had any issues with anti-cheat, no one does?

Yet keeping a plugin because of only your mentioned positive experience is justifiable? Hold on?

Also I’d like to hear when the last person appealed or got banned for a speed hack. Are there any staff members that can suprise me?

Yes, the point it that is only a fraction of the players are having "A PROBLEM" it is most likely the "PLAYERS" themselves and has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SERVER PLUGINS.

Ahhh.. DUH! no one as there is anti-cheat plugin stopping all speed hackers! Use your brain, how can someone appeal for never bein ban in the first place.

I hear just fine, but when people complain about "things" they know nothing about, I feel then need to correct them and tell them they are wrong. Show me your "proof" that the "anti-cheat" is causing problems... o wait... you or none of you other "COMPLAINERS" have any... I doubt anyone on the server even Fuzzlr himself has never bothered to monitor or check the building in default reports that tell you where the problem is....
