The Unjust Return of Hornemans

Hornemans has been unbanned. After numerous violations regarding alt abuse, he has miraculously returned. All of the staff have refused to talk about the situation. Recognize that his balance has not been wiped and that he has injected more meebles in to the economy than Viperfan17 who remains banned for another form of cheating meebles in to the economy.

Why has he been unbanned? The people demand an explanation.

 

This is absolute bull. He does something that would give anyone else a ban and has nothing done?

The only way he could of gotten unbanned without an appeal is because he actually didn't do anything wrong. . .

I have read the updated rules. Nowhere does it say why Hornemans was unbanned. It also has no mention of why other cheaters that have carried out similar acts against the server remain banned. Would you please re-read my question and answer it?

 

So you change a rule so you can unban a player just because he donates a lot of money? That’s hella corrupt homie.

 

4. Alternate Accounts

Usage of alternate Minecraft accounts is allowed. However, it must follow the following restrictions:

• None of your alternate accounts are banned (Inappropriate names and/or staff impersonation bans do not apply to this rule)
• You may not complete Parkour courses on alternate accounts, then pay another account with the reward.
• You may not complete Quests or other one-time per-account achievements or features on alternate accounts, then pay the reward to other accounts.
• You may not transfer Meebles between accounts through any means; including town banks, gold blocks, and any other means.
• You may not kill alternate accounts in minigames and PvP arenas to generate easy Meebles. This rule applies to friends who allow you to kill them.
• You may not gain any kind of advantage over other players through the use of alternate accounts.

Since this wasn’t in the rules before, I’d take a random guess and say that would be the last time any situation like alt abuse should happen (that’s no leaking, just me analyzing the new rules; don’t take what a I say as an explanation)

Saying that doesn't give too much context to the situation. Nothing in the rules defends hornemans unless the rule is explained and applied, because clearly not even the smartest players can connect the dots.

 

This is everything Hornemans did. It's detrimental to the server.

Is the injection of millions of meebles into Meepcraft's economy not detrimental to the servers? It is obviously detrimental. There is no explanation necessary to support the fact that what Hornemans did is harmful to the server. We need an explanation f0r why he has been unbanned.

 

Can I just say its concerning when you would update rules to unban a player, with little to no explanation

like I've never called staff straight up corrupt before but this is crazy

I'll give it a day or two, but there should be at least a thread explaining the rule changes. I don't think anyone is happy with staff actions right now lol, and for good reason.

 

I mean from what I can tell, rulese were added that clarify what is and isn't alt abuse. But horne still did alt abuse. so?

 

Hornemans injected money into the economy unfairly.
'acts detrimental to the servers' are against the rules.
Hornemans carried out acts detrimental to the servers by injecting money unfairly.
He broke the rules.

 

The fact that giving tons of money to Meep actually works to get unbanned is corrupt as hell. <instead of the person actually learning their lesson> This is really starting to drag down the server's reputation.
The point here that we're making is that he broke the rules but apparently he gets to be unbanned without any consequences or any reasonable explanations.

**Also, just because he's either a friend of the owners', or anything like that, doesn't mean that they should be treated any differently, friend or no friend, family or no family.
