The fact that Nikolas literally posted on social media that he was going to shoot up the school is enough proof for me to say he is mentally unstable and we should probably take away his guns and or rights to buy a gun.

I never said that you said it was illegal. I am the one who said it was illegal. You said that drug dealing was a business in which I replied it is an illegal business.

I brought up Democrats because you made a statement that many Democrats are saying. That isnt me saying youre a Democrat, its me saying that the ONE statement you made was typically a Democratic view point. I know youre neither Republican nor Democrat, youre independent, right? same for you @Deinen, arent you an independent?

1) the law trump was advocating for wasn't based on proof, it was based on family alerting the police. To be clear we are talking about taking away someones rights because of a testimony, I believe earlier you said something along the lines of "nobody should be fired for an accusation".

It is irrelevant who agrees with the point I was making, all that matters is if the point was sound.

He literally said, if we have proof that someone is mentally ill, like Nikolas, who posted on social media the actions he was going to do, we should take his gun away first, then go through due process, if it came back that he was fine, then they would return the gun, if not, they would take them away.

I really don’t see what you’re trying to get at here. Saying he thinks kids are becoming more violent because of their surroundings. Many parents don’t want their kids playing GTA, he has an 11 year old son who he doesn’t want exposed to that kind of stuff yet. What’s the problem? Now Trumps getting hate for trying to be a good parent!?

 

The process where we evaluate someone's social media posts is called due process.

I could care less how trump (more realistically Melania) raises his child. He is suggesting there should be some government action taken against videogames.

OK I'ma say this out loud. I don't care for trump, I don't like trump, But who do you think you are when you attack their son? I mean really, I don't like trump again. but no where in the world would i step so low on the bar to go after his son. Oh also, I hope he gets impeached.

 

Do you know how long due process can take? Oh wait, nearly 6 months before he attacked the school he literally posted online what he was going to do. With Trumps proposal, we would have had his gun within a day.

He wants to see what he can do to try and stop younger kids from playing these games. No normal parent would allow a young kid to play these games. Now a days you have 8 year olds playing GTA online with random people. Have you heard the way they talk online when someone attacks each other? No young kid should be shown that, let alone play it.

I never said it was. I believe the government shouldn’t be totally involved in our lives. However, I don’t see an issue with Trump trying to work with people to stop people from engaging in terrible crime. He mad mention of a video game, I don’t see what the hype is about.

Many games already have age restrictions, Again, what’s the issue?

We’re not saying Russia may or may not have intervened with our elections, not just this one but others as well, which is a problem if they are. However, there is no proof, nor will they find any proof, that Trump colluded with Russia to win the election. The investigation that they ended was the fact that we’re going on with this nonsense investigation, one that cost money, in attempt to find Trump-Russia collusion. It’s been over a year and they have yet to find any collusion with TRUMP!

 

What about the emails that Trump Jr released regarding the meeting he, Manafort, and Kushner had with Russian officials for dirt on Clinton?

That sounds like collusion to me.

 

He released them to show they never got anything. They never received anything about Clinton. He released them to prove to everyone that they weren’t receiving “dirt” on Clinton.

Not necessarily. He never asked Rob (the guy Don Jr was emailing about the meeting) for dirt on Hillary & the meeting wasn’t about dirt on Hillary either.

 

Apparently Mr. Trump doesn't think its enough that the parents decide what video games they want to expose to their child. He believes that video games should be regulated by the gouvernment, so kids can only play what they want them to.

Not only is this stupid, it will EFFECTIVLY MAKE THE GAME INDUSTRY A JOKE. Companies will start having to make games that are okay for kids- meaning we'll get great titles like "GTA: Learning colors in Vice City" or gold like that.
