Adds Adds and more players!

Ok this is a Fairly simple request since like the amount of donations recently have given the server well more than enough money to put ads out on websites because Ads=Players and Players=FUN! I personally recommend websites like PlanetMinecraft and websites like that since its mostly MC websites. If their is not enough money in the budget start a go-fund me page for it

 

Adds on meepcraft.com to fund those adds!

Pretty sure we cant advertise for reasons tho

putting restrictive adds on meeps forums would actually work and we could make it so its not MC adds and just like shirt and amazon adds xD

last i checked also I think it was .10$ for each add view but I will Look into it
If it is .10$ per view or click then 100$ would do pretty much i think 10,000 Views And thats a AMAZING amount of people we could get with such a small amount of money

You joined in 2017 so you really wouldn’t know what it was like to have 100+ players.

 

First it's ads, not adds....


Second, we don't need to advertise. There is no secret untapped group of people who want towny servers. There simply are't many people that want a server like Meep left. The little funds Meep has left (We don't know how little because of our Great Supreme Overlord) should be used to keep Meep running as long as possible. Servers are damn expensive.

Don't buy ads again.

They never work.

 

When it hits 100 people and becomes people screaming about money, it becomes an economy server.
That's what Meepcraft was meant to be and honestly I liked it better when money actually changed hands some.

3. If it was this simple don't you think they would have done it already
4. You can't just create a go fund me page and get immediate donations
5. If someone did create a go fund me page, who would even want to donate?

I've been here since 2015, though my join date's hecked. Ask some of the people who know me better like ghost. I've only been very active since 2017, right after the reset, because personally I've enjoyed it more with less players and the restart, but I did play parkour occasionally and dabble in towns before. Never got into because there were just too many.

 

About 1 Hour ago I sent a small Email to Planet MC's Head staff so I should get a reply today if not tomorrow and ill tell you the suggested price

 

Dude you can't do that, you don't represent Meepcraft at all. The email was probably full of grammar and spelling mistakes that will cause Planet MC to ignore us indefinably. Jesus this may even count as impersonating a staff member, a bannable offence.

Yeah, you definitely don't represent Meep. This is definitely something that should have required explicit written permission from Fuzzlr himself, not even KD or Cooleys. This was a really dumb thing to do.

How many times do we have to tell you this isn't your place to do that. If they wanted information about that, fuzzlr of a high up would do it. You have no place to do that. Like @Marshy_88 said, the email is probably full of grammar mistakes and crap.

Leave the dude alone lol. He can do what he wants and certainly doesn't need a bunch of people yelling at him. You're certainly just giving him loads of attention which is exactly what he wants. Live and let live.

 

I believe we should be focusing on getting Un blacklisted (I believe we are compliant, so if this already happened then I apologize) and player retention. We have seen in the past that advertising for about a month resulted in a player count of about 100 for about a month. But over the next two months it went right back down to the normal numbers. The player count has risen since some points last year. I believe we need to continue what we’re doing with making the server better so that players enjoy playing. We can advertise when we think there will be a better retention.
