/speed fly 1-3

Title pretty much speaks for itself.
Flying already exists, this would just be for practical purposes. 1-3 aren’t speeds too overpowered.

 

+1 as /speed fly 1 is normal speed and 0 prevents movement of that type.

 

-1 fly is plenty overpowered already, doesn't need a buff for sure

 

you know famous makes a good point and the anti-cheat has problems with how fast normal flight is so having speed 2 0r 3 probably wouldn't work at all.

 

I don't see how flying faster in the towns world gives you any more advantage than being able to fly in the first place?

I would actually like to be able to set a lower fly speed, like three quarters, half and quarter to make placing things and building easier

 

I think the only real way to slow down flight would to equip an item with a negative movement speed attribute or have slowness in spectator mode. so maybe make some "lead boots" with a negative speed attribute and add them to /warp shop, possibly even have an effect where you sink faster in water and fall faster?

 

I had a suggestion for NBT-tagged armor planned, just hadn't made it yet. Got some cool testing done on this but idk if it really belongs on the fly speeds thread

Ah, didn’t know it would break anticheat.

 

There’s always a solution for anti-cheat.

 

Lord's said it's pretty low priority. eventually it will be fixed, but my bet is it takes 8 or 9 months

 

Denied, too many permissions are attached, and you can use speed potions.
