Fix Voting Quickly

Simple suggestion. Voting is supposed to be fun.
Suggestion is to nerf the chance to get vote keys to 1/10 or so and remove the [redacted] prizes nobody wants. (example: dis notes) and buff the prizes to things people want (remove all notes and the 2,500 and add something desirable, nobody WANTS to look like the admins because frankly their skins aren't that good)
like more money, perk/fly keys, special effects and all that.

 

Outline has been written that will benefit the vote crate prizes, sorry to say but no Kling disguises.

I wanted someone to make a thread like this, so thank you. Vote keys need to be nerfed, because they are becoming too common. I do think more prizes should be added though, and notes should be removed.

Have vote keys be rare, and have the outcome only be decent prizes. I mean, prizes are op right now, but we could still do without the notes.

Are you serious with this statement? Are the voting items and prices being re-worked right now?

 

I would remove all the dis notes in the vote crates and keep the meebles, or at least add some 1 day /fly perks in there
Plus, I don't see any point in dis notes as I just toss the ones I get

I understand that, i was trying to ask were this outline maybe located see I can view it? As I have some suggustions for voting changes as well.

 

Oh no it was with pets that will tie into the vote crate, nothing about the current winnings with notes and what not. If you have a suggestion put it up because it does need to be modified.

On a serious note Ive been trying to nerf it for a week or 2 now. It will be happening soon.

I disagree; the current voting system does exactly what it serves to to: ENCOURAGE VOTING
More people have probably voted in the last month or so than in the last year (maybe) combined.

If you want to nerf things that's fine, but remember that playerbase > economy

 

I agree with pseudo, voting has seen a massive increase and the player count is climbing, I also prefer the new system because I run my town off of the extra vote money.

 

The reward rate used to be so low it wasn’t worthwhile, then it became way too high like it is now. We need to find a balance between the two extremes.

 

That made extremely upset. The only dis note I would ever use (Besides a laundry machine note) would be an okling one

if the prizes are buffed then there's more reason to vote. The keys will be worth much more, so voting is still definitely worth it. If you have a 1/4 chance to get a super valuable key, most likely you'll still vote. The problem is that right now people are voting and earning enough to run their entire medium-sized towns

Also, it's more fun to always win but get to play less than always play and rarely win

I think the point of voting should be to get players to come back every day. Thus good rewards are ones that players log in for a chance to win like the fly key, type X tools, etc.

 

nerf the vote key chance to 1/4 make vote money per vote 1.5k - 2k
