    I think it'd be helpful to have an auto-reply away message that is able to be set by the player. The only thing I think we'd have to worry about is two afk people getting stuck in a reply-loop. I think it'd be helpful to give people an idea of when you'll be back etc. There may already be a plugin out there for that.

    In your opinion, would this addition be classified as something that would significantly improve the user experience at MeepCraft, or would it be classified as something that would be neat to have?

    This wouldn’t significantly improve the user experience it would be purely cosmetic. I think making a customizable afk message would be cool but you’d have to make sure the filter is applied to it because people would abuse it and/or staff would hate to moderate it. Like “going to grab a coffee brb in 10” if someone tries to pm you? You could potentionally put a spin on it and make it a rank perk since that’s a argument 24/7 of people not having anything. It isn’t a horrible idea but I’m sure there are better things on the plate atm to attend to.

    sounds like a bit more work for lord than it's really worth, you could just not go afk and log off.

    Why is this necessary?
    We already have an automatic AFK message, personalized ones aren’t needed.
    On top of it, it’d just make more work for staff to monitor inappropriate ones and change/delete them.

    I think it'd be cute, maybe have a set few choices to do, with a command like /setafk or /afkstats and it'd show you a few, like 'I'm afk I'll be back in (user inputted) (time range)' and it'd only accept certain words/numbers I'm a +1 but idk how much work it'd be

    I think it would be helpful especially if a player is waiting on someone. Most MMO's have this feature for good reasons. I wouldn't consider it cosmetic.

    It would have to be custom because we run on multiple servers (not just one server/world) and the AFK detection system is custom.

    I think if this were to become a project and added to the server it should be a DONOR perk. Due to the new EULA Complaint ranks, anything we can add that is a minor cosmetic change is beneficial when it comes to trying to keep the “hype” around ranks.

    +1 on that accord, but not for use of the general population.

    We currently have the AFK message in place, but at this time we do not plan on making it customizable. Thank you for making the suggestion, though.
