    Hi everyone,
Today, I’d like to suggest that we add a confirmation message, similar to the one in slyblock, in which you either have to click the sign again or type in /svs yes. I don’t know if you can add the plugin to towny, but it’d be a great feature, preventing accidental purchases.
If it’s possible, it’d be even better if this only applies past a certain amount whether if it’s to buy or to sell.

I support this. I accidentally bought 25k worth of dirt from Jeffhill and he refused to pay me back. He's so dense. +1

    I like you

aside from likeness, it really isn't too difficult to be aware of where you click, it's the same with vshop and doing /buy 1 diamond 1000 then you buy some noobs diamond for waay to much, it's your own fault if you run around a place with millions of shops clicking like a madman and not expecting to buy some overpriced items this is too much work to implement for the effects it would cause, but I would see why it would be useful.

Sometimes, accidents happen, especially with big amounts. You either didn’t see the price right, or even just clicked it by accident. I might be mentally average, but I know I’m not the only one who, in the past or even recently, bought something too expensive for what it was by mistake.

You buy small things on accident too then and never raise an eyebrow.
I dont get why we would waste time on something like this rather than we use our eyes and pay attention, instead of further dragging server development

Not worth the time, and this will spam chat if you need to spam a chest shop

^smk, people sometimes buy lots of things and don't wanna keep going /svs yes /svs yes /svs yes /svs yes /svs yes yes yes yes yes

plus you should look at the price first not just go ahead and buy it plus more people use /buy I think so they can set a limit like 100 meebles to prevent buying expensive things

This wouldn’t be for things you casually buy, but for more expensive things exceeding a certain amount of money. Enchanted tools, spawn eggs, etc. It is in skyblock and is useful there. If the plugin already exists why not just add it to towny?

This sounds good for items over a certain amount (I'd say something like 1,000) but I think the command should only need to be ran once before unlocking the sign for the player to buy, to avoid chat spamming and annoyance. Having to type in a command would be confusing to some players, and possibly annoying to most, so I think it should just create a message in chat then immediately let the player use the sign as normal on the second click. This let's the player confirm, but doesn't get in the way.

consider modding without forge, you can get ID conflicts and many mods have features(mainly crafting recipes) that conflict and plugins can be the same.

We do not plan on implementing this at this point in time for a couple of reasons:
    • Many individuals spam-click signs so that they quickly buy items from chest shops; a confirmation prompt impedes this process
    • A new ChestShop plugin is being developed and the workflow has already been approved; this is not something that we will be adding in the first iteration of the new ChestShop plugin
