Reset the Wild

Well it has been some time since it was last reset...

 

+1 as well. It needs a reset every once in a blue moon

 

Why though? For an eco server it's better to let the resources deplete, then the value of some items could go up. I know we used to do resets a lot but now that our economy is struggling a bit, I think it's good to just let it run its course, you know?

I mean either way people rarely use wild anymore, it's kinda just there now.

Totems would be SO cool. Like there's only 3 of them say, and they're worth a ton because of their rarity. It's an item that all players can get to prove their worth. This would be a great reason to reset the wild.

 

Just because the wild hasn't reset in ages doesn't mean we have to for the sake of it and I'm still obtaining all the recources I need...

 

I'm not paying 50k for something I'll never use. TBH totems need to be like 5k each or nobody's ever going to use them (unless there was a mansion they could spawn in)

 

I personally am against a wild reset currently, except for possibly a Nether reset. Let me explain why: though prices have been fluctuating in the v-shop, this fluctuation is a natural system for v-shop. At the writing of this post, the v-shop is starting to sell items with an increasingly decreased set of prices. V-shop is still acting as it did at the beginning of the server, which means that supply and demand are the same as (or at least very similar to) what they were at beginning. Items are definitely still in great supply, enough that I think the only effect of a reset would be to up to the supply greatly and through off the current balance. The only high value items I consistently notice to be in low supply are Nether quartz items, which means that the nether could do with a possible reset soon, but the consistent supply of all other items shows that the Wild has no need to be reset and that a reset would in fact hurt it.

My first post attempt was to long, so I shortened it. Items are in good supply, except for possibly Nether quartz. I think resetting Wild would drop item prices for a time which isn't good for the majority of citizens based off of the current large supplies of items out there. I'm not against a Nether reset as Nether quartz appears to be in low supply.

If you're concerned about finding items, try the v-shop and pwarps. As always, there's The Warp Book (now at "/pwarp depot") and the free listing on the forums page at Pwarps . Most pwarps allow selling at their shops, as it's a way to make a small profit and keep items stocked, so there appears to be some great money making available. Also, as has been said multiple times, an easy way to get money is to say you're clearing plots for meebles.

there will not be a reset for days, weeks, or even months
possibly, there may be one reset, but not even close to now as meep is still kinda recovering from what happened in jan, and you could argue, "oh but eco is fine now and there are no materials"
yes there are no materials but thats what keeps the value of these items up, diamonds get rarer, alongside with emeralds and especially gold, and I'm pretty sure all of wild hasn't been exploited to the point where u see giant massive (no don't think of it the bad way) holes in the ground all mined up, u gotta put effort in finding things, and it keeps players on kinda, cause it does get boring in which that case get urself a hack
maybe one day, there will only be one single diamond in the whole server, being the last one there is, and even with that happening a wild reset will no happen (could happen)
ur only bet is bribing, i suggest bribing @Vamp1re_Man since i bribe him all the time for special weapons aka a kb fire aspect stick and a apple with smite on it and letting it be a pair of boots so it looks like I'm wearing apples on my square feet
moral of story: wild reset won't happen, no real reason for it to happen but if u really want it to happen, bribe people, aka kling or vamp or me when i was staff, they can hook u up with dem bans

 

I have, for the past 5 days, mined about a dub (I didn't count but I have a ton distributed about various places and vshop) and it's actually quite easy to get if you set yourself to it. So no, I wouldn't recommend resetting the nether, it's not hard to get quartz, and I didn't even bother with a lot of the ceiling quartz cause there was a lot on the ground.
