Clearlag changes

Now, there are some items that are extremely valuable (elytra, bedrock, end portal frame, the new voting rewards etc.) that should be immune to clearlag. Shulker boxes should be included too, since they're portable chests and a lot could be lost if you made a mistake. It wouldn't even increase lag since that sort of item wouldn't be in sufficient quantities to do anything to the server. Sorry if this is impossible, or has already been done and I haven't noticed, but it seems like a decent idea.

 

I must say, this is far from a bad idea, and I agree things like shulker boxes especially should be protected from it. The only issue I see is actually implementing it, because the way all clearlag plugins work, they delete item entities on the ground. We'd need to have some kind of system to detect entity types run to determine if it is a protected item or not, which could cause lag.

Like I said, I don't think it's a bad idea, but it could be a hassle to implement.

I don't think it would cause much lag considering the amount of entities reaches 100 at most. Even if there were 1000 or so entities, I'd expect it to take no more than a few seconds. If lag proves to be a problem, this can always be run on a separate low-priority thread.

 

Surely spawn eggs would be possible, right?
