I said stop complaining because all I got was "Remove it". No one told me what was wrong, why, what to fix, or anything else. You all said hostile mobs were the issue, and I fixed that.

I somewhat disagree. I believe the "Best way" for a community to grow is to be polite and welcome every single new player like you're making new friends every day. Communication with the owner is really only a small percentage of what happens here. Besides, If you want to talk to Fuzzlr, Just message him. Hes always around.

 

I am not a fan of people that make meep less enjoyable by adding negativity to the environment. I appreciate the efforts Klutch is taking to improve the server, and despite the people that try to disrupt the process, he is doing pretty well. If you disagree, think about what you can do to make meep better, not worse.

Ok, Just know that complaining when you haven't even tried is literally the silliest thing. Nothing will discredit you faster. Just know the options open! =D

Mean, we believe he won't even answer to us due to the fact that he never comes online in the server he himself created. Think about it. We don't see someone for a long time, we think they're gone. So, he kinda had the right to complain since we never get to see him. The server itself is where we focus on the most. Not discord, not forums.

You might see him all the time on in slack or other things but we don't, so think of it from a non staff player's point of view.

I think existing players would be more willing to be more positive and all if they saw the owner more and felt like things were getting done. From a community standpoint things are at a standstill quite often. Doesn't mean it is but all the same its what it looks like. And from that same standpoint why continue to encourage an eco and a good community and for new players to stay if we are at a standstill?

Meep has the power to be amazing again but from what I personally and many others see, not much is being done.


I guess the point is, instead of or in addition to relying on the community to bring in new players, what's being done on staff side to bring in new players, especially high staff?

If you see the meep times I think quite a good amount of change is being implemented already. If that's not the change you are looking for, then you can make suggestions or give input to staff members working on projects, as stated above. Of course I wasn't there when meep had 1000 players online so I can't compare everything, but it doesn't seem like everything is still?

Now your point about the owner being online is perfectly valid, but I don't think we have the ability to control what an individual does in his life? He is a young business man in New York and maybe actively playing Minecraft is not the best way for this individual to pursue his future dreams? Fuzzlr and high staff are spending their own money to advertise and to keep the server running. If every player that joined meep didn't leave so easily, we would have a "sophisticated economy" and you will be able to trade with "thousands of players"? It's very hard for a few people to try to keep players from leaving if the community disregards their efforts and contributes little??

I'm not saying everyone is like that, but there are some people that do this which I don't find to be likeable.

Thats kind of my point. We have advertising and new players flowing in but they leave so easy. Admins need to figure out how and when and why they leave, and see about a more direct solution. Maybe something has to be changed up in the ads or in the new player experience type thing in order to keep more of what comes in. Not to mention seeing heavy unrests in tbe community and solving those issues so they will be more happy, therefore more welcoming and in general pleasant, therefore more new players. Money is being spent, why are there no results? How do we make results happen? By digging in prism and seeing when new players leave most besides instaquitting after 2secs in spawn.

As for fuzzy man's activity Im not saying the solution will happen Im just saying its a solution that is very much effective. Ive seen it myself on both staff and nonstaff sides - people get excited and hopeful when fuzzlr is more active. Staff work harder, more ideas are put out, community is happier. It is a great improvement in overall community satisfaction which is what's kinda needed atm. Whether it happens or not its a good thing to think about.

 

I agree with you, however theirs not much in the form of things I can do to change this. You can message him and let him know your concern, but I cannot force him online.
