    Heres the proof.
Trump’s Son Met With Russian Lawyer After Being Promised Damaging Information on Clinton
Donald Trump, at the very least his campaign, tried to collude with the russian government to win the election.
Trump JR met with a russian government lawyer because he thought the lawyer had dirt on hillary clinton. Turns out the lawyer didn't actually have the information and was just using that as bait to get an audience with the trump campaign.

You sure is wasn't already on?

I should mention that attacking just the source of news without substance is a fallacy, as is just resorting to Name Calling.

When a website cites "anonymous sources" you can't double check there reporting, all you have is if their credible or not.

Sure, but how do you rate credibility? If we're comparing the number of untrue stories vs the number of untrue ones, CNN would still be credible, not NYT or Wapo credible, but still.

Generally, there are other sites out there that run a story. They corroborate with details.

You can't objectively measure credibility, you have to use your own judgement. you've also got to weigh what the story is, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
? What do you mean by this. Do you mean when a website cites the CNN article that cites anonymous sources?

Well apparently another fake news organization is Fox News:

'Fox & Friends' corrects its coverage of The Hill's Comey report'

Atleast when CNN had a poorly sourced article they owned up to it and fired the writers. Fox News will probabaly give a promotion to whoever wrote the false article.

Sorry, been off forums for a bit. Anyway,
@MeepLord27 I have no issue with it. (No, im not just saying that because his dad is the great Donald Trump). I have no issue because
1.) He released the emails which just goes to show they have nothing to hide.
2.) He isn't a White House employee or an employee of the government.
3.) Donald Trump (the President) didn't see the email conversation until it was released on Twitter by his son.
4.) The Russian lawyer Ms. V (I'm not even going to attempt to spell her name) said the conversation was about U.S sanctions on Russia.
5.) A lawyer said Don jr did nothing wrong, even in the email.
6.) I might would have a slight concern on it if Hillary Clinton wouldn't have gotten away free and clear with colluding with the Ukraines.

@Deljikho Fox doesn't release fake news articles and they always correct misguided or incorrect statements. CNN has been caught staging riots and what not in the streets and then filming it as fact. CNN has been caught with MANY MANY MANY fake news stories and incorrect information. Do not compare CNN to Fox. Every news site has incorrect things and a small bias, but Fox actually releases the positive info about Trump, Republicans and etc, and negative.

If there's anything else you want to know I'll be happy to answer them or comment on it. I did read yalls conversation since I've been away and don't feel like going back and responding to every single one.

So your saying you don't care that the Trump campaign actively colluded with a foreign government to usurp the free and fair elections of America?

Because Paul Manafort and Kushner were also a part of this.

Hours after Donald Trump Jr received Russia emails his father held a press conference promising more dirt on Clinton

US intelligence 'overheard Russian officials mention meetings with Trump associates in 2015'

I could say the same thing about Hillary Clinton and the Ukrainians. Why didn't she get the same treatment the Trumps are getting? In fact there is literal proof of Hillary colluding with the Ukrainians and there still is no evidence that the Trumps did.

Second, Donald Trump jr isn't a White House employee so what he did on his own has nothing to do with Trumps campaign.

"Over hearing" something, doesn't make it a fact. This is all coming out after Donald Trump jr released the email.

Lawyers are saying he did nothing wrong, and he can't get in trouble for it. It's not illegal.

They didn't collude with the Russians, so no I have NO problem with it.

And we should believe her because, why? She has no incentive to say/admit that the conversation was indeed about dirt on Clinton.

Well yes, but he's still the son of the president, and thus could easily have Trump all the information he potentially got, even if Trump didn't see the emails. And maybe he might not have an official position or title in the federal administration, but he certainly has close ties with Trump--it's not like Trump Jr. was a random American guy looking for dirt on Clinton.

And while this move might not be illegal per se, it's definitely very concerning, especially in light of some of the other staffers' ties to Russia.

And some lawyers are saying that what he did was definitely illegal--just because some lawyers are saying he did nothing wrong doesn't mean he actually did nothing wrong.

Just for reference's sake, here's the laws in question:

A foreign national shall not, directly or indirectly, make a contribution or a donation of money or other thing of value, or expressly or impliedly promise to make a contribution or a donation, in connection with any Federal, State, or local election.

No person shall knowingly solicit, accept, or receive from a foreign national any contribution or donation prohibited by [this law].

A solicitation is an oral or written communication that, construed as reasonably understood in the context in which it is made, contains a clear message asking, requesting, or recommending that another person make a contribution, donation, transfer of funds, or otherwise provide anything of value.

It's very arguable that damaging information on Clinton was "something of value," and that Trump Jr.'s attempts to solicit this information were illegal, even if he actually got no dirt.
    --- Double Post Merged, Jul 12, 2017 ---
How do you know this for sure? Nobody besides the actual people in question know the actual truth.

Im not saying we should just up and believe her. Im saying she was part of the conversation I'm pretty sure she knows what it was about.

You can't blame the parents for what their adult children do. If Hillary was President and Chelsea did this, that wouldn't be Hillary's fault. again, the important part of the conversation was about sanctions.

In your case, you are only going to believe the lawyers who say he did wrong? Just like you believed the lawyers who said is travel ban was unconstitutional? (when they weren't) and just like they said he sexually assaulted his sex wife? (which he didn't). and just like you believed them when they said Donald Trump himself was under investigation? (when he wasn't). and I'm sure I can find more...

This has nothing to do with money.

    two things here:
    1.) It wasn't illegal.
2.)What about Hillary Clinton colluding with Ukraine?

In the court of law, you are innocent until proven guilty. He hasn't be proven guilty of any crime, therefore he didn't commit any crime until proven so.

Blue did you read the emails?

    From Rob:
    "Good morning

Emin just called and asked me to contact you with something very interesting.

The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father."

In this email its established that the russian government wants to help Donald Trump by giving him incriminating information on Hillary Clinton.
    From Trump JR:
"Thanks Rob I appreciate that. I am on the road at the moment but perhaps I just speak to Emin first. Seems we have some time and if it's what you say I love it especially later in the summer. Could we do a call first thing next week when I am back?"

Donald Trump JR agrees to work with the russian government to get incriminating information on Hillary Clinton. After some scheduling emails, Donald Trump JR says "Great. It will likely be Paul Manafort (campaign boss) my brother in law and me, 725 Fifth Ave 25th floor." So clearly Donald Trump JR is working with the Trump campaign.

From all that, we can safely say that the Trump campaign worked with the russian government to try and procure damaging information on hillary clinton.

    "Or other thing of value".

    Burn her too then.

I'm curious to know: @Blue_Marlin did Hillary commit a crime by colluding with Ukraine?
    --- Double Post Merged, Jul 12, 2017, Original Post Date: Jul 12, 2017 ---
I'm not saying she doesn't know what it was about; however, she has every reason to distance herself from the Trump campaign now that her meeting has been found out.

No, I don't only believe the lawyers who say he was wrong, but it's definitely ambiguous.

If Hillary Clinton murdered someone and got away with it - Would it be ok if Trump murdered someone?

I gotta clear up the Ukraine thing. The Ukraine stuff wasn't illegal because it was information that was legal to obtain. The thing about asking someone to hack is, under RICO, that makes you guilty as well if they go down. Hacking is illegal. Trump knew it was hacking. He even publicly asked them to hack Clinton. Clinton's was legal. A little shady, but not illegal.

@metr0n0me at this point I have no clue. Most people thought (knew) Hillary committed crime with the emails and she got away with it. So if you ask a sane person, yes, she probably committed crime with colluding with Ukraine but some how it's no big deal.

@Deinen You are completely misunderstanding what I am saying. As always. My point is, why are we all over President Trump for something his SON did but not all over Hillary for what SHE did!? Why is it okay for Hillary to do something but not when Trump does it? Not saying Trump committed crime because I know he didn't but IF he did.

@lfpnub Donald Trump never asked Russia to hack the election and he certainly never said it publicly.
