Well I wouldn't say he doesn't support "Climate change" as I would say "Global warming". Anyway, I am a new global warming denier. (Yes, the new one). Some how society has changed the meaning of global warming and has made it into a "humans caused this, were all going to die and Earth will explode". I will deny that all day. I believe in the old form of Global warming as in "Humans didn't cause it, its natural. You see, the Earth cools down (global cooling) and the warms up (global warming) and no I don't mean that time at Christmas it snowed. I mean over hundreds of years its goes through a warming process and then a cooling process. Earth has done this for as long as Earth has been here. So yes, I agree with Donald Trump (mostly) on his climate change (global warming) views.

I think every parent should be forced to vaccinate their children. Im not going to get into a huge debate here but more harm is done to non vaccinated children. Maybe instead of studying global warming so much we should get better vaccines that more parents would be comfortable giving them to children.

This has two sides to it.
1.) I love when Donald Trump makes fun of Hillary or anyone on the Left. I enjoy it, I love it, I love his tweets, I think they are funny.
2.) The difference with Trump giving info out and Hillary giving info out also has two parts.
1a.)Trump is President and has that right, Hillary was not.
2a.)Trump gave info out to help people, Hillary gave info out and people died.

Well I wouldn't say Trump is "crazy friends and chill" with the Russians. but I do think @MeepLord27 said all that needed to be said.

This is a little question and a very easy one at that. Yes, I 100% support my President as a President and a human being. I voted for him. (I'm 18 btw) I think he is very smart, he helps the community, he raised amazing children who have left and will hopefully continue to leave a major impact on society. They are a wonderful family and I absolutely love his wife, Melania Trump has showed true patriotism and love for this country and for that I am proud to call the Trumps the "First family of the United States of America". Some may not like him and thats fine but I have full support for him.

You can have your opinion on American politics, I have my opinion on politics for other countries. Just don't go all "Daniel Thompson" on us.

@MeepLord27 I said that because Japan is an example of US allies who are doing the opposite of what you said

And no, I read the Declaration of Independence

@Blue_Marlin what do you mean? Also Daniel is a nice person in general

@Natsu I never said he wasn't a nice person in general. My problem with him is the way he went about the "minimum wage" thread. He basically went on a rant about how Australia was such a great country and America was crap. I didn't like that. So, I'm fine if you have an opinion about American politics. As an American I have my opinion on Russian politics, North Korean politics, Canadian politics, and others too. I think it's great to see and hear the opinion from foreigners as an outsider looking in. That being said, I have no problem with you talking good or bad about Trump or America. Just choose your words wisely as America is the home of many people who actually love the country. That's all I was trying to say to Daniel.

    From your own source:

"Trump said he’d heard President Putin’s clear statements that that wasn’t true and that the Russian government didn’t interfere in these elections, and that he accepts these statements"

If the United States Intelligence Agencies tell the President that Russia interfered in the elections, then why would he simply take Putin's word that Russia didn't?

That doesn't really sound like "pressing" Putin to me.

There is also an audio recording of Rex Tillersons press briefing. One part in particular is of special interest:

"The two leaders also acknowledged the challenges of cyberthreats and interference in the democratic processes of the United States and other countries and agreed to explore creating a framework around which the two countries can work together to better understand how to deal with the cyberthreats, both in terms of how these tools are used to interfere with the internal affairs of countries, but also how these tools are used to threaten infrastructure, how these tools are used from a terrorism standpoint as well."

Basically Trump doesn't care that Russia hacked us and is even going to help them by creating a joint cyber security panel between our Nations.

    He's a spineless coward.

I don't think anyone will claim anything even remotely near that the Earth will explode. But it's certain that we are causing a spike. You are right when you say that the heat has ups and downs. But we are taking that spike, and sending it higher and higher and higher with no sign of a drop off. We are pushing it higher than it has ever gone before.
Here's a graph from NASA that illustrates that fact. Our CO2 levels are higher than they have ever been, 2016 was the hottest year on record.

What do you mean by "get better vaccines." I don't understand what that means exactly. Our current vaccines are almost completely safe and fullproof, do you mean get more?

Okay, so you're saying that since Trump is a higher position and is more important, he has the right to give out confidential information? But then Hillary does not? So your problem with Hillary then was that she wasn't a high enough position to give out the info? Not because it was confidential information not to be shared with an outside source? Also, please elaborate on how people died because of Hillary's mishandling of confidential info.

And you totally have your right to support him. It just confuses me so bad when I watch all of these videos of him being an absolute prick and I wander how he is representing the USA to the entire world. How is it okay when he rudely pushes other leaders out of the way? You can be tough on these people, but the only path to success is good leadership and working together.

I mean, here's a clip of him back in 1993. Has he really changed since then? Has his attitude and his complete disregard for any sort of common sense changed? He talks about "politically correct" and how he's breaking all the norms. But for gods sake, you can be not politically correct and still be logical in your words. And be polite towards the people who you have to work with.

Finally, his tweets. What even... I think how serious this is has escaped people. This is a grown man, leading one of the biggest powers in the world, and he's on twitter making petty insults at people and calling people nicknames like an elementary school bully. That doesn't show leadership. That shows weakness, and a lack of resolve to work together.

If putin is just gonna deny it theres no reason for him to push it any further, it would be counterproductive.

I'm totally fine with him being a real person, but saying it's okay for him to act like a child because he's "a real person" makes no sense. One thing to not act like a regular politician and another to act like an 8 year old. It's possible to not do both.

I just wanna answer the one about Climate change, I really am not a Trump "supporter" in the sense of I voted for him, but I preferred and still prefer him over the other choice of election, so I guess I count. I know Climate change exists, and I think Trump does too. He chooses to completely disregard it because as of now, it is not an issue in the slightest. When you read posts saying that "experts say we only have 1.5 years to clean up our pollution mess before it is too late", they never did any actual testing, nor did they get any actual experts. At the rate temperature has been rising, we have quite a while. If we had literally nothing else to worry about, such as debt, unemployment, immigration policy, or North Korea, sure, Climate change would be a great issue to try to tackle, but in the current scheme of things, it is unimportant.
That's just my opinion on it. It exists, but it's not serious enough that we have to divert a lot of our attention away from the current pressing issues to deal with it right now.

Its ironic that the media are attacking Donald Trump for calling them out on fake news with more fake news. The corporate media complex has nothing but there audience. Anyone who believes such demonstrably dishonest organizations that back there claims up with "anonymous sources" needs to wake up.

Right, I agree with you, but that doesn't make a person who is not good at thinking and tells the truth good. Neither should be people who take the presidential role.

Honestly, none of that matters at this point.

Despite all of our intelligence agencies confirming that Russia did indeed attempt to influence our election by propaganda / electronic hacking. Additionally the intelligence agencies of our European allies are confirming the same thing.

Trump, a President who is being criticized and somewhat suspected of working along with Russia in some sort of collusion, is the only person now actively trying to deny Russia's involvement at all.

That President now wants to lift sanctions on Russia, and form a joint cybersecurity program.

I'm sorry, how does this make any sense at all?

    It matters a ton.
    fake news.
He pressed putin 2 times during their meeting about russian hacking.

Lift sanctions? Where are you getting this? Donald Trump said on twitter that they wouldn't even begin to discuss sanctions until the ukraine and syria problems were solved.

There was a massive cyber attack on englands health system earlier this year. I don't think its that bad of a thing for two super powers to work together on cyber security.

How in the world is this fake news? Are you being serious or are you being this willingly dense?

All of our intelligence agencies have confirmed on CSPAN in front of the Senate and Congress that Russia attempted and succeeded to influence our elections via propaganda and electronic hacking. How is this fake news? Show me a source disproving those claims.

Which Putin of course denied it and off Trump went. Trump has not once backed up the claims by our intelligence agencies and has even went out and said "Nobody will ever really know" - This is completely false, we know they did.

Former diplomats: Trump team sought to lift sanctions on Russia

Former officials: Trump seemed prepared to lift Russia sanctions 'in exchange for absolutely nothing'

There is even enough credible information about this that our god damned Senate has been trying to limit his ability to lift any sanctions on Russia.

Senate Votes To Limit Trump's Power To Lift Russia Sanctions

Sure if you willingly ignore all the context behind this. This is literally like working with the guy who has robbed your house to make it more secure.

Come on, you had been giving out legitimate arguments on behalf of your side but now you're spouting the same level of koolaid BS blue_marlin has been.

    The fact remains:

The one guy who has been accused of collusion with a foreign government interfering in our elections is now the only one who has been refusing to acknowledge a foreign government interfered with our elections.

The NYT issued a retraction. Turns out only 4 agencies said russia hacked us, not all 17.
Trump’s Deflections and Denials on Russia Frustrate Even His Allies
Go down to the bottom of the page and read the NYTs correction
What was he supposed to do? After putin denied it was he supposed to get rude about it? His meeting with putin was clearly productive, I don't think he should've sacrificed a cease fire in syria just to stick it to putin.

Ok, numbers aside I don't believe it changes the overall point, especially considering the various intelligence agencies in Europe also confirming the hack.

He is supposed to not continuously deny that it happened.

I'm well aware the influence we exert in other elections around the world. You could argue the merits of this all you want and we'd probably agree on most things, however, this does not condone Russia's actions on our country nor does it negate that fact in anyway at all.

Trump, the one guy who is at least suspected of working in collusion with a foreign government to influence our elections - Is one of the only ones that keeps denying that it happened. That is an issue - That is something criminals do.

I'm grateful he's come out and said it but at the same time concerned that there are multiple more statements from him conflagrating or misdirecting the very issue. His latest comment about it was essentially it could be Russia, but we'll never know.

-- It's pretty hard to get a feel on where Trump & Administration sits on issues because we constantly have his administration come out and say something and then Trump comes out and says something literally the opposite of what was just said.

I wasn't trying to say it negated the fact that russia hacked us, the point I was trying to make was that the analogy you made with russia being a robber isn't accurate. Its not a one sided issue, America is a "robber" in your scenario too. America and Russia have been fighting for decades, if Donald Trump wants to try and make peace and work together I think thats a good thing.

Except if you look at Russia's actions around the world leading coups (Montenegro) and attempting the same influence in other nations (France, etc) you would easily see Russia isn't trying to make friends in this world. Russia is trying to increase their power and influence.

Russia is not a friend, nor are they interested in being one.

Russia is an adversary, as they have been for decades now and they are currently attacking us - We're doing nothing in response.
