Towny Rail System; because teleportation is boring :p

Players before you have tried. The distances between towns are too great. The cost for the towny land is too much and it's too hard to decide who pays for what. The building materials would be expensive. This was when MeepCraft had 400+ players.

Now?

You don't have enough towns to connect with enough players to utilize it. The prices are still high but the economy isn't as robust/active as it was before.


Inter-town travel works but it won't really be utilized and any lag will make the system pretty much un-useable.

 

I would also like to add that it would cost expansion issues, with a giant railroad cutting through towny.

 

Here is a map of the region where my town existed. Keep in mind that it's hundreds and hundreds of blocks between each town.

 

To clarify duping is item creation using bugs and farming is item creation using mechanics. The thing is though where do you draw the line? Skyblock is a game mode for a reason as pretty much every item can be farmed.

 

It's clearly stated in the rules. Duping means you create items, and farming means the items come from somewhere (mob, plant, etc). There is no gray area.

 

How am I not caught yet?

The idea sounds cool, but not currently feasible. Maybe later...

 

The mods and staff have lives too. -1 from me. Simply too much to ask for
