You could make a religion out of this.

How? I don't know. But you could.
    --- Double Post Merged, May 30, 2017 ---
    Okay, now this is serious.

Since obama is gone, there is the issue that Net Neutrality may dissapear, meaning, that ISP's can charge you for certain sites, like cable, and slow down traffic on sites.

    And it's already happening.

The FCC is proposing to lift the rules of net neutrality put in place by Obama.
Restoring Internet Freedom Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

If you use chrome, this plugin will show you what the internet is like without net neutrality. Try going to wikipedia, google, youtube, and other famous sites.
    Removal of Net Neutrality Simulator

    Save your Internet, America.

I wasn't referring to trump, I was referring to conservative fringe groups that hold sway in some parts of the nation.

    Shall I continue?

I can also pull up every lie Hillary Clinton said and Obama. I can go back to tweets, interviews, etc.

Well we just got $110 billion so maybe they can use $29 billion of it for the wall.
That budget is for the remainder of the 2017 fiscal year silly.
I say stop sending aid to Mexico until the wall is done.

    That hasn't happened.

He really hasn't lied tho. Maybe a few white lies but nothing like Hillary Clinton.

Yes its under investigation and yes they haven't found a damn thing!

lol you get so butthurt of silly things. Shut up about his Stamina crap.

    False.
    Ill name a few,
1.) Discussed how to defeat ISIS and made a plan with the Defense secretary.
2.)Negotiated free trade with Mexico and Canada.
    3.)Keystone pipeline.
    4.)Arresting and deporting people.
    5.) Repealed Obamacare.
    6.)Attempting to defund sanctuary cities.
7.)Put Neil Gorsuch in the Supreme Court.
    8.)Attacked Syria?
    9.)Attacked North Korea?
10.)Attempting to get rid of lobbyist.
    11.)Put out a tax reform.
    12.) World tour?
13.)made $110 billion on a deal with Saudi Arabia.
Shall I continue? because I will...

You can believe what you want, I am not blindly following Trump. My eyes are wide open as well as all of his supporters. Trump is the best thing that could of happened for America. Ill stick to my words.

Quote me on where I said anything about Obama. Anything I did say was factual. I also believe I applauded Obama for ending the "wet foot dry foot" law and I thank Michelle for putting nasty food in our schools and wasting money on vacations.

    Policy effects everyone's life...

What about Russia? The fact that they keep randomly investigating people that have ties to Trump in hopes to find a tie they have with Russia but they somehow cant find anything?

    Fringe groups.

His point was that you guys, not the left, specifically you guys, were being pedantic and you were nitpicking instead of making substantive criticisms, if other people were unfair to obama, it has no relevancy.

Oh yeah lets just spend 29 billion dollars on a giant slab of concrete that the next president is going to cancel halfway through construction because people that there hard earned tax money is going to get some slab of concrete built that is either gonna get a) climbed over b) dug under or c) swum around.

When he was elected and when I first posted on this thread, I had a tiny bit of hope that he might do some good. All have that hope has been completely smashed and President Trump is unprecedentedly horrible.

The amount of partisan idiocy going on right now is extremely disheartening and shows the sad state of American politics at this moment.

@MeepLord27 sorry I worded it badly. When I said attack I didn't mean like a physical attack. What I was saying is that we have China on our side and if need be we are prepared to go in. We're trying to stop his "threats". Does that makes sense?

@kwagscraft well with my examples, tax payers wouldn't be paying for it. You obviously don't know what good a wall would do. And no you can't just swim around it, go under it, or over it. Have you seen some of the plans they are working on?

The fact that you asked me this proves my point that the state of American politics is extremely sad. I kind of understood how some people voted for Trump, (Supreme Court, Hillary bad). I may have disagreed with them, but I at least understood. What I don't understand are people who supported him before he was nominated as the Republican candidate, or people who still support and defend him relentlessly. To do so, is to turn a blind eye on countless issues that people found as problems in the previous administrations. The rampant hypocrisy and seemingly lack of integrity shown by people *still* defending Trump is remarkable. I will edit this if I get bored and try to explain exactly what I find troubling in his administration.

The topic of Saudi Arabia has been one of the bigger flip flops of President Trumps tumultuous presidency thus far. Prior to the election, Trump was very hard on Saudi Arabia (for good reason). He criticized their policies regarding homosexuality and women's rights. He heavily criticized President Obama's terms in referring to radical Islamic terrorism. Now he proceeds to do the exact same things President Obama did in respect to these issues. However, this may just be a symptom of a larger issue, that being the United States apparent dependence on Saudi Arabia. Trump has not been tough on the Saudis like he promised, in fact he's been even more friendly towards them. In a recent speech, President Trump with the Saudis by his side, called out Iran which had just completed its democratic elections. Let that sink in... President Trump standing in a country that would throw one in jail for the crime of criticizing the monarchy called out Iran, a democratic country right after they had finished a historical election. I do not fully blame Trump for this, American hypocrisy on this issue has been a problem throughout almost every recent administration. This doesn't fully pertain to President Trump, but watch this embarrassing video where a senior State Department official pondered this hypocrisy.

Okay you can rant about how you don't understand how or why people support the great Donald Trump. I voted for him, I support him, I like him, so far I can't complain other than two things that's happened/not happened. My question was: "Why do you not like Donald Trump as POTUS?"

Why cause conflict with a country when you have a country willing to work with you? That would be stupid. Sure he thought he needed to be hard with Saudi Arabia, but they picked their heads up and are willing to work with Trump. What's the issue? The issue you are talking about self fixed itself. So what's the problem now?

Oh god, you're old enough to vote? I'm also not sure if you're being satirical with us.

I have countless problems with the "great" Donald Trump as POTUS, however in the specific situation I mentioned......

No doubt the weapons deal we just completed would contribute to the genocide that is/about to happen in Yemen. U.S made cluster munitions have been detonated aimed at civilian populations in Yemen and many other places. Does it "make America great again" to allow the Saudis to attack funerals killing civilians with bombs saying "Made in the USA"?

The Saudis just used the great deal-maker Donald Trump, and will probably laugh at him/us as they use our resources to promote their goals, some of which may no doubt be at conflict with ours.

I actually love this meme. Its great.

I read through some of this, and it seems like its either a business dealing with a russian (Donald is a business man.), or a conspiracy theory. I can't read through something like this: "9/9/2016 - In May 2014, the CNI hosted a roundtable discussion at which the director of the Kremlin-backed Institute for Democracy and Cooperation strongly defended Russia’s position in Ukraine. In April, Trump chose the CNI as the venue for his first major foreign policy speech, and the audience included Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak. Source" and not think its a crazy guy pointing at a wall with a bunch of string connecting cutouts of newspaper. Once theres actual proof that Donald Trump worked with the russian government in an immoral or illegal fashion I will cede the point, but its literally all smoke, no fire.

Hey, I'm not making any claims its true or false. That document just lists what has come out true or false. But I have to say, there is a lot of smoke. Like an entire house filled to the brim with smoke, and it seems logical to assume there is a fire when you see a mass of smoke billowing out of a house.

There has been a lot of Russian connections, and a lot of lies about those connections. I'm personally positive something will come of the special investigation, it's just a waiting game at this point.

Sure but they didn't outright lie about sketchy meets with Russians like more than two people in Trumps admin.

Why do so many of them have connections to a singular nation which has been proven that they tried to interfere in our election. Why did more than one of them deny those connections? People with nothing to hide don't go to such lengths to hide them.
    --- Double Post Merged, May 31, 2017, Original Post Date: May 31, 2017 ---
I mean, look at Trumps actions. He keeps going back on NATO. He is about to pull out a world wide climate agreement, he keeps making waves with our closest allies, these type of actions make a lot more sense if you look at it from the assumption Trump is trying to weaken America's standing in the world. They absolutely make no sense if you see trump as trying to help us.

We're right back at the spot where the singular best defense of his actions are gross incompetence, and that is sad.

Russia has lots of rich influential people, I'm sure every billionaire has business connections to them.

He said that we should stop paying for other countries militaries. I don't think thats a terrible idea, as long as you exercise good judgement.

Anything we do is little more than moral grandstanding anyway, we need to get china and india to implement large changes or whatever we do is pointless. We would just be handicapping our own economy with the deal.

I specifically remember WW1 and WW2 being the reason why we began doing it in the first place. It's a good question to ask if Europe is ready for a military on a global scale again, but aside from that. Mentioning or threatening that we might not come to their aid under article 5 is not good judgement no matter how you look at it.

But both of those countries have been. They are outpacing us currently on actions to prevent further climate change.
