Suggestion: Contracts

I was just wondering if you could make in-game contracts, I want for this to be added because of the benefits it could create. (EX) a player could build a bank (i'm making one) and loan for example 1K with interest and have a player pay 100 meebles a month. And if a contract is broken it can be seen by the admins.

Examples

Banker: /ct create [RegularMCPlayer]

Banker sees

[CONTRACT] Enter your "contract"
<Banker> pay me 100 meebles every month
Reason: The Loan

RegularMCPlayer sees:

[CONTRACT] Banker wants to make a contract with you!
"PAY ME 100 MEEBLES EVERY MONTH"
[Accept] [Deny]

If accepted

RegularMCPlayer sees

[CONTRACT] ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO ACCEPT?
"PAY ME 100 MEEBLES EVERY MONTH"
[Accept] [Deny]

Or you could make deals with people you trust and take screenshots.

 

Get people to sign a book and quill.
It functions under the rules, because if you "deceive another player for monetary gain" its scamming. As long as you have proof (in the form of a book and quill) that they agreed to the contract it should be kosher.

 

Not necessarily, for example Meep doesn't deal with loans and if someone doesn't pay up, you lose the money.
However I'm not sure that this suggestion would solve this nor do I think it's needed in general.

The person would still be banned for scamming right? Meep doesn't have to pay the loaners, they just have to provide deterrent.

 

+1 I really like this idea. Could you explain how the contract would sort of like, know, it was broken and how it would send itself to the admin? Would the player use a command to show how the contract was broken.

 

If you don't trust the players, as @Muunkee said, just screenshot it, or don't make the deal.
It would take time and effort to create, which could be going to things more important.
Although the idea isn't bad, I think we could do without it.
