Attn: Travelers of the wild

I’ve created a safe haven for travelers where they can easily locate exposed diamond deposits in a mine where the vast majority of the work is done. Come Swing by and gather rare ore and lots of free supplies, trade with villagers, collect food and enjoy the polar bear exhibit.

I did this for the Meep community! Come and enjoy my creation before griefers ruin the party!

This is in the wild and was built to be raided. Feel free to Trade with the Villagers, visit the polar bear exhibit, gather supplies, ore and more.

 

I wish I could say, "Going, going, gone!" but I feel that by now it's "Gone, gone, nonexistent and blown into smitherines."

That is if it's not a trap...

 

Had our second visitor today. They took a modest amount of supplies, mostly iron and coal. the shaft in front of the coal chest has a diamond deposit that's only 6 blocks away and they did not take it? I hope they come back before the diamonds are all gone.

I thought about making a huge trap but where is the fun in that? Evil laughing fades.....

 

I'm a big fan of diabolically planned death traps!

 

Unfortunately, I tpa'd xTSN to the mine thinking he would want to see it but he had other plans

xTSN did the following in less than 20minutes and escaped:
Killed the Polar Bears
Killed the Villagers
Killed some other nearby mobs
Mined most if not all iron/gold/diamond ore
Took most if not all cobblestone/things from the chests in the mine
Took most if not all things from the chests near entrances.

It is my hope that new members of the meep community will find this and use it as a tool to help promote the server. The free diamond armor in the chests were gifts for “travelers” of the wild, so please help yourself and know that there will be more very soon. Unfortunately, TSN took the life from the town and as disappointing as it is, this was created for the meep community and not for me. With Gold, Diamond and Chain armor in chests throughout the village, + more than 100 diamonds in the mine… TSN focused on killing villagers and polar bears… what a wack-job. TSN took very little gold ore, iron, redstone, lapis or diamonds. I expected someone would kill the "Nitwit" villagers, and eventually the others, but did not expect it to happen before more people had the opportunity to enjoy a town that was full of little electrons pretending to be living and breeding entities.

The town has recently had visitors! Only a few of the more difficult to locate diamond and gold deposits are left, but still lots of redstone and lapis. Various chests are restocked with armor and weapons (Gold Diamond and Chain) and some of the mobs have been restored. Unfortunately, I cannot do anything about the villagers xTSN killed... they are lost so trading is no longer available to visitors. Anyone is welcome to swing by and grab goodies, make sure you stop by before the wild resets.

 

When does wild reset?

 

Probably not for a long while. Wild is not reset frequently, and I think that they might make resets even less often to encourage rarity of resources. This leads to a more active market, something that Meep is struggling with nowadays.

 

The village has had many visitors... including Natsu. Based on the evidence I have seen so far, most of the visitors are simply travelers
that have stumbled across the town by accident. It's sad that we still have no villagers for travelers to trade with, but the town seems to be getting more foot traffic recently.

Village update:
1. Polar bear exhibit is repaired
2. Diamond mine has 6 new shafts and many more exposed diamond deposits
3. more than 10 chests are all restocked with supplies and armor (some diamond)

The town has had a large number of visitors in recent weeks. There is still a large number of rare ore deposits (diamond, gold, lapise, red, etc...) that are unclaimed. I've needed to do a lot of repairs due to griefers and there is much more to be done... anyone care to help repairing the building?

 

Two villager houses repaired (fireproof) And i improved the wall. If i´m motivated again, i´m gonna add some details on the wall and add maybe something to the town.

Nice work! I TP'd to the town and got a shock when I saw all the upgrades. I see the mine is pretty much empty, so I'll need to gather supplies for travelers. I also restocked the chests near the entrances with a few goodies.

 

Oh, so that's what the "Great Trump Wall" was...
Great initiative, but sadly this server isn't perfect enough to not have griefers.
Great idea though!
You probably worked hard for this project and I congratulate you for that.
